HI- I am Sammy and I am a total love bug!! I came in with my sister Gracie (who is also soooo sweet)- we need to stay together as we are best friends, as we been looking out for each other forever, don't let that worry just double the love!!  I weigh 12lbs, they say I am a chihuahua, all I can tell you is I am a sweet little lover boy with the biggest, bluest puppy dog eyes you ever did see!  I am crate trained, I am doing well on housebreaking - my foster says I am 90%   I am dog friendly (after about three min of me acting tough), and love everyone- just remember I am small so we need to make sure little people and big dogs know how to handle my big personality in my little body!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE toys- I mean who doesn't-- I like the big stuffy ones, and the squeaky ones.  I can entertain myself or will be just as happy with a pupper or human to play with.   I am learning the leash walking thing, but you have to take baby steps as my little leggers cant keep up- I ride well in the car-- I haven't met any cats- but I am not sure I would mind them!   Any chance you have room for me (and my little sister) - we don't take up much space at all :)   We will be available for adoption on Oct 3, but you can apply now at pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adopt Paws Across Pittsburgh, Pgh PA 15144.  ##2534276##

HI- I am Gracie and I am a total love bug!! I came in with my brother Sammy (who is also soooo sweet)- we would love to stay together as we are best friends and have been looking out for each other forever. Little-Bit is 4yr old chihuahua mix who came into foster care when her owners could no longer care for her.  Little-Bit has become more adventurous since being in her foster home but will need a patient, calm and chi savvy adopter.  Little-Bit prefers women over men so she will need slow introductions and patience. Small children are not recommended.  Little-Bit is very food motivated, crate trained but still needs help with learning how to potty outside. She will need an owner who provides her with a consistent routine, frequent potty breaks and someone who will continue to work on leash handling.    Little-Bit does do well with other dogs her size, however; prefers to have her own space and does not like dogs in her space. Luna and Harry must stay together for Harry's sake. He is the more nervous and tends to shy from new things. Their brother Henry we were able to separate after many months of work with Henry going to visit for an hour or so and then extending the time. Sadly this didn't work for Harry. They are 3 1/2 years old. They had never been outside and we had to acclimatize them to the real world. It took a year before they would willingly walk out the door on leash. Both are very sweet dogs once they get to know you which doesn't take long. They are pee pad trained but are going outside now. Small children are not recommended as the pair are not well socialized with small kids and the pups would probably react badly to pulling or trying to be picked up the little ones. They do well with some dogs but not all they meet, with a little work they can adjust.
