Story
Chihuahua lovers, meet Lilliput! This adorable 14-pound bundle of joy is searching for her own loving family. Rescued by a good Samaritan, Lilliput is now ready to start her new life. While she may initially be timid and hesitant in a new environment, Lilliput is the most lovable little thing once she overcomes her fears. She still likes to be the boss, in true chihuahua fashion, but she also loves to cuddle up with her human. If you’re a fan of kisses, this girl has plenty to share. Lilli thrives in a calm household that understands her need for space to decompress and respects situations that make her uneasy. She enjoys playing with her toys and other dogs, although she can be a little dominant. Therefore, she would be best suited to a home with a small, submissive dog or as the only dog. Lilliput has a strong outdoor prey drive and loves to chase birds and squirrels in her foster's fenced yard. Her leash walking skills are improving daily, and sniff walks are a great outlet for her energy. Although housebreaking is still a work in progress, Lilliput is clever and with a little more time and patience, she’s bound to master it. She has shown significant improvement in her foster home. Lilliput learns to trust fast and to give and receive love. She truly is a gem waiting to sparkle in the right home. She will come with her chihuahua attitude along her emotional support dino, one of her favorite toys. We really can’t wait to find this little one the best home ever!Name: LilliputBreed: Chihuahua/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 1 -2 years (estimated)Weight: 14 lbs.Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesHousetrained: Working on it!BASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: No, too much "busy"Good with Dogs: Does enjoy the company of a 4-legged submissive and similar size canine playmateGood with Cats: No Cats-Too high of a prey driveAdoption Fee: $300.00Location of dog currently: New England IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.
