Story
Meet Charlie! Charlie is a handsome 3 year old Cocker Spaniel mix who is ready to find his forever family! This sweet boy is great with kids and other animals and would make a wonderful companion. He is fully housebroken and crate trained. With a gentle leader, he does well on leash. Charlie does have a preference when it comes to his canine friends - he would do best as the only dog in the home or with a gentle, submissive female dog. He would prefer NOT to live with male dogs. Charlie has so much love to give and is looking for someone who will appreciate his sweet personality and give him the forever home he deserves. He loves to ride in the car and snuggle up on the couch to watch movies or take a nap! If you're looking for a loving, handsome boy to be your new best friend, Charlie may be your perfect match! Could Charlie be the one that you've been waiting for? Apply to meet him today!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hello, my name is Dakota. My owner is going into care and can't take me with her so she asked CSAC to help find me a new home. I am good with kids and cats. The CSAC volunteer says that I am happy, outgoing, friendly, and affectionate. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished family pet again. Hope to see you soon For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. Story
🐶 Looking for a New Family for Lego 📍 Location: New York Lego was adopted as a young puppy but was sadly surrendered by his owner after three years. He grew up in an unstable environment with frequent travel back and forth to Boston, which made it difficult for him to form a secure attachment with his guardian. Because of this instability, in moments of fear, panic, or overwhelming stress, he has shown a few defensive or warning bites Lego needs a family who can meet him in person, understand his behavior clearly, and provide the consistent, reassuring environment he needs. City life is simply too overwhelming for him. With a quiet environment and a patient, steady guardian, Lego has every chance to continue improving and becoming more stable. The greatest hope is for Lego to find a peaceful home where he can finally rest. 📌 Basic Information Name: Lego Age: 4 years Gender: Male Weight: 25 lbs Breed: Jindo × Cocker Spaniel mix Color: Brown & White 🐾 Personality & Behavior People: Very fearful/reactive toward new people, warms up more easily to shorter women Children: Not recommended Other Dogs: Best as the only dog Shows resource guarding around food; must be fed separately Cats: Unknown Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: No Energy Level: High Touch/Handling: Uncomfortable with physical contact Barking: Quiet when alone; barks at doorbells or hallway noises when someone is home Escape Tendencies: None — manageable with “sit” and “wait” Walking: Martingale collar recommended; pulls with a harness Car Rides: Nervous initially, settles on longer rides Yard: Ideal, but a quiet neighborhood is also fine Living with Other Dogs: Not suitable 🔎 What Lego Needs Lego has fear-based reactivity. His current guardian has invested significant time, training, and management, and he has shown meaningful progress. However, Lego needs: A guardian experienced with reactive or anxious dogs A consistent daily routine A calm environment with low stimulation 🧡 Please Consider Becoming Lego’s Family Once he bonds, Lego is goofy, affectionate, and deeply loyal. He is waiting for a forever family who can provide the quiet suburban environment where he can truly thrive.

Story
Luna is a gentle, affectionate and family dog. We rescued her at 4 years old.A little about Luna:🐶 10 years old in December❤️ Very loving, affectionate, cuddly👧 Loves children🐕 Gets along with other dogs🐱 Very friendly with cats💊 Not currently taking any medications🩺 Had surgery to remove bladder stones in September 2025🍽️ Eats prescription dry food💧 Needs plenty of fresh water throughout the dayThis is an incredibly difficult decision for our family. Unfortunately, our circumstances have changed, and we are no longer able to provide Luna with the consistent care and attention she deserves. Our trusted family-friend dog sitter recently moved away, and we have struggled to find someone we feel comfortable leaving her with when needed. The increasing cost of veterinary care has also become more than we can manage financially.Luna deserves a home where she can enjoy her senior years surrounded by love, patience, compassion-ship and care.We hope she finds a wonderful new home😀
