Yankee is an 8 month old male Collie / Lab mix who’s just as beautiful inside as he is out. With his sunny personality and sweet smile, he brightens every space he’s in. Yankee walks well on a leash, making walks around the neighborhood easy and very pleasant. This sweet friendly pup happily greets people, wagging his tail and always ready to make new friends. Yankee enjoys playing with toys or with his doggie pals in adjacent play areas, but he especially lovvvves getting to spend time with his human friends. Overall, Yankee is an absolute gem - loving, super sweet, full of heart - and just waiting to be discovered by his forever family. Could that be you? Come meet this wonderful boy and find out, Yankee can’t wait to meet you!  The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.January 27, 2026, 8:00 pm
