When Natz first arrived he was very unsure of us and his surroundings. It took him a couple of days to realize that we could be trusted and then it was like a snuggle switch was flipped.  Natz  is shy at first, but give him a few minutes and he is trusting to have you pet him. He is learning puppy manners like “sit” very quickly. H e  loves going on walks and is learning to curb his enthusiasm while on a leash .  He does  great  in his crate but spends most of his time roaming free in the house or yard.  He loves pets and snuggles. Despite h is  more reserved approach, N atz’  loyalty is undeniable. Once he forms a bond with h is  family, he becomes incredibly affectionate. H is  cautiousness gives h im  a sweet, thoughtful quality—he’s a dog who values security and routine, and once he knows he’s in a safe, loving environment, h is  personality shines through in little bursts of happiness. H e has a lot of puppy energy but when he is done playing for the day he is ready for cozy snuggling.  From Natz: I don’t rush into things. I like to take my time, figuring out if something feels right. It’s not that I’m scared; I just like to be sure. My humans? They’re the best. I know their voices, their scents, and I trust them with everything. I love to be close to them and look around to make sure they are close to me. When I curl up next to them, everything feels safe. The world can be big, and I’m still figuring it all out, but as long as they’re near, I feel like I can handle whatever comes my way.    August 15, 2025, 8:38 pm

Henry loves to play! Although his name is from Monster’s Inc, his mission is not to collect screams but rather lots and lots of snuggles. Henry doesn’t like to snuggle up next to you. From her foster: She loves walks and runs, does well on a leash, and has mastered some basic commands. I'm working on house training; it's a work in progress with her but she's coming along. She's good at going in crate when directed to do so, but will howl/bark for a little while before settling down. She’s wonderful with other dogs and absolutely adores people. Ace snuggler. Very sweet temperament that's on the calmer side. But also game for adventuring. I don't have cats so unsure if friendly with them but I have no reason to think she wouldn't be.

Hi, my name is Mona and I am from Oklahoma! From her foster: Meet Mona! Mona is a 7-month-old Collie/Australian Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for people. She settled into her foster home quickly and wants to be part of everything you’re doing. Mona is very smart and has already started picking up basic commands, showing just how eager she is to learn. She loves going on walks, playing in the snow, and romping around with dogs of all sizes, especially her foster’s small dog. Mona is on the higher-energy side and will do best with an active home that can give her plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. While she can get hyped up easily, she also settles down well. She’s been doing great with potty training, has had only one accident, and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. Mona is spayed, nearly done with her meds, and ready for her forever home!
