Meet Hattie! This cutie has a ton of love to give. Her favorite place is snuggling right next to you. Hattie appears to be a sports fan - she loves lounging on the couch and cheering on the Vikings with her foster family. Hattie is a friendly and confident puppy that loves meeting new people and dogs. She plays well with the neighborhood kids and she holds her own wrestling with our big family dog. Hattie plays hard, but she also takes long naps and sleeps through the night in her crate. She’s a smart girl who is quickly learning her house training. Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! Meet this affectionate, playful girl! Dara is incredibly friendly, so sweet, very intelligent and loves being around people. Her brother just got adopted and so we're starting to lean more into potty training - and my goodness is she doing great! She will sleep from about 8:30/9p to 6:30a and keep her kennel clean! We have her outside consistently for potty breaks and she's having few to no potty accidents in her play pen or in the limited access she has in the house. She's gone on some walks and she will actually - walk! With a little training, she's going to be a stellar companion to go on walks with you. We've been doing lots of exposure to a variety of things - lots of kids (in our home and at the school playground), road noise, construction noise, leaf blowers, lawn mowers, hoses, dogs passing by on walks, live music, sound machines, stairs, car rides (she loves!), and she's even been to the thrift store. Yes, she's a thrifter now. ;) If you’re looking for a puppy who will enthusiastically greet you and make sure you never feel alone, this girl may be your perfect match! Oh hi, I’m Devin! My current favorite song is "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles. I’m a fun-loving, friendly boy with a love for the world around me that's contagious. Every new toy is my new favorite, and I also love people of all ages as long as they're willing to let me snuggle! I know I won't always be small, but for now I love to try to climb up on your lap so I can sit sweetly and offer you kisses. I’m very good at sharing - whether it's my toys, food, or attention. I bet I could be a great adventure buddy as I have great curiosity about new people and am an easygoing boy. Devin is such a joyful and happy boy – he's incredibly friendly with kids as well as new dogs he meets (he's great at reading cues as far as who wants to play and who would prefer space). He's also very gentle with kitties! Devin is one of those pups that asks for so little and is just content to be with you. He should continue to be a wonderfully outgoing boy with continued socialization as he's received so far. He’s a star at working on his potty training and is bright and food motivated so he's a joy to teach. Up until recently he slept with his siblings in a large pen, and has recently transitioned to sleeping overnight in his crate where he's awesome at sleeping through the night. Welcome Kai to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Kai is a very sweet girl, she is just about 1 year old. She is a German Shepherd/Smooth Collie (BorderCollie) She weighs about 60 pounds and should stay medium sized. She is good on a leash, good with other dogs. She is mostly with her sister in her foster home. She uses a doggy door and is good on leash and in a car. She is fully potty trained and very smart. She is good with children and likes toys. She would be best with someone that is active and outdoorsy. She would be fine as an only dog or would be good with another dog. She will be a fun one to train. She has good eye contact and attention to who is speaking with her. She has one upright ear and one that is not. She is getting her vaccinations and will be spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. She would be a great family companion and could go with children. We like children to be 8 or older. Please be patient when you put in your application. Adoption fee for Kia is $400 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed mix. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers.
