I’m Daira, a sweet Border Collie and Labrador Retriever mix puppy with a heart as big as my paws. I’m new to Minnesota and still discovering all the exciting things about being an indoor pup. My distinct white-tipped front paws and question mark tail are my signature markings and make me different from my sister. For most of my young life, I lived outside on my own, so every cozy new experience now feels extra special and exciting to me. I’m a curious little explorer at heart — I love sniffing out new corners, chasing a bouncy toy, or investigating a new sound. I also have a soft, cuddly side and adore curling up on a warm bed or snuggling on the couch for quiet time with my people. Sometimes I’ll nuzzle in close just to make sure I’m part of whatever is happening, and I always appreciate gentle pets and love-filled attention. I get along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, and I have a calm, friendly nature that makes it easy for me to bond with new friends. I’m still learning house training and crate training, but I’m making steady progress and respond well to patience, structure, and positive encouragement. I enjoy short walks, play sessions, and discovering new sights and smells, and I’m looking forward to learning even more as I grow. I dream of a family who will share life’s adventures with me — from playing in the yard, going on safe walks, learning new tricks, to quiet evenings curled up together. I’m loyal, loving, and full of potential, and I want a home where I can be a true part of the family, sharing love, laughter, and lots of cuddles along the way. Please complete an application so that we can meet one another!        February 5, 2026, 11:14 am

Name: Natz  &#226&#173&#144&#239&#184&#143 Wish Upon a Star Age:  1. 5 years Gender: male Breed: Labrador Retriever/ Collie Mix Weight: 37 lbs Dog friendly: yes Cat friendly: yes Child friendly: yes House trained: yes Crate trained: yes Energy level: moderate Temperament: sweet, intelligent, reserved, loyal Requirement: Not  rental appropriate  Adoption Fee: $375+tax   Wish Upon a Star Adoption Special. 50% Discount will be applied to this fee.   ( For animals who have been in care for over 6 months are eligible for 50% off their adoption fee.) To adopt, go to: http://www.mendingspirits.org/apply-to-adopt.html Some stars take a little longer to find their sky… and Natz has been patiently waiting for his wish to come true. Natz isn’t the kind of dog who rushes headfirst into the world. He watches first. He listens. He takes his time—because when Natz gives his heart, he gives it completely. When Natz made the long journey from Alabama to Minnesota, everything felt unfamiliar. New sights, new sounds, new people. At first, he wasn’t sure who to trust. But after a few quiet days, something shifted. He realized he was safe. He realized these humans were kind. And once that trust settled in, it was as if a snuggle switch flipped—revealing the deeply affectionate, loyal soul he had been keeping close. Natz may be shy at first, but give him a few minutes and he’ll lean in for pets, soaking up every bit of affection. He’s learning puppy manners quickly (he’s already picking up “sit”), loves going on walks, and is working on curbing his enthusiasm on leash. He does great in his crate, though he prefers spending his time roaming freely through the house or yard, always keeping track of where his people are. There’s a sweetness to Natz’s cautious nature. It isn’t fear—it’s thoughtfulness. He values security, routine, and connection. Once he bonds with his family, his loyalty is undeniable. He has joyful bursts of puppy energy, and when playtime is done, he’s more than ready to settle in for cozy snuggles. From Natz himself: He doesn’t rush into things. He likes to be sure. But once he knows he’s safe, once he knows you’re his, your voice becomes his comfort and your presence becomes his home. Curled up beside you, the world suddenly feels a lot less big.   February 1, 2026, 12:57 pm

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🧭🐾 Meet Journey — A Sweet Soul Ready to Find Her Way Home 🐾🧭 Journey is a 1-year-old, ~40-pound sweetheart who has spent her puppyhood waiting for something every dog deserves — a family of her own. Born into an unwanted litter, Journey and her siblings grew up without the comforts of home life: no cozy couches, no bedtime routines, and no humans calling her name just because they love her. Yet through it all, Journey’s heart remained gentle, hopeful, and full of love. Journey is friendly, affectionate, and playful, with a soft, loving nature that makes her impossible not to adore. She does great with other dogs and kids, and has a beautiful balance of curiosity and calm. She’s the kind of girl who will happily explore the world with you and then settle in close, just to be sure she’s exactly where she belongs. Her mom is a heeler/border collie mix around 40 lbs, and dad remains a mystery — a charming wanderer who passed along good looks and great genes. Whatever the mix, Journey inherited intelligence, athleticism, and a loyal heart that’s ready to bond deeply with her people. Journey would thrive with an active, loving family who enjoys walks, playtime, and adventures, but also values togetherness and connection. She’s eager to learn, ready to blossom, and so deserving of the life she’s been patiently waiting for. 🐕 Journey’s Details: ✅ 1 year old, ~40 lbs ✅ Sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented ✅ Great with dogs and kids ✅ Playful, gentle, and loyal ✅ Smart and eager to learn ✅ Waiting for her forever family Journey doesn’t need much — just a chance, a safe place to land, and someone willing to love her wholeheartedly. Story
Belle was adopted as a young dog by my brother and his partner. His partner died recently and my brother is in assisted living. Belle was a loved and dear pet. She’s very sweet. When we first got her, she had 3 accidents in the house. She also had accidents while sleeping which has been controlled by medication (proin er74). There have been no daytime problems since using diapers and crating. We are unable to keep her because we travel out of the country for 1-2 months at a time.
