I describe myself as having the heart of a loyal companion, the spirit of a true adventurer, and an endlessly devoted nature that I can’t wait to share with my future family.Just a little about me. I’m happiest right beside you — whether we’re road-tripping it across Minnesota, exploring new trails along the way, or curled up next to each other at the end of a busy day. Wherever you go, that’s exactly where I want to be.My foster family says I’m a special little dude: I’m clever, charming, playful, and incredibly affectionate. I LOVE being outside, especially riding shotgun on car rides and keeping yard patrol from my favorite perch on the deck. But what I love most of all is simply being part of your everyday life — the big moments, the little ones, and everything in between.I’m a pretty smart cookie, too! I’m fully potty-trained and eager to learn new things. At 40 pounds, I’m the perfect size— big enough to keep up with you on all of your adventures but small enough to curl-up on your lap for movie night snuggles.Belly rubs are high on my list of favorite things — right alongside quality time with the people I love. I’m wonderful with kids of all ages and get along great with dogs of every size, too. My ideal home includes an active family (or a playful dog buddy) that wants to include me in all of life’s adventures.I’m ready to give my whole heart to a family who’s looking for a loyal sidekick to live a long and joyful life with. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
