Story
Hi! My name is Mike Wazowski, and I am from Arkansas! From his foster: Meet Mike Wazowski, a lively little pup with a big personality! True to his name, Mike is chatty, expressive, and always ready to make you laugh. He came from the South with his eight siblings and their wonderful mom, Celia (who’s also available for adoption!). Mike loves to “talk” to his people, whether he’s asking for playtime, treats, or just a little extra attention. He’s friendly, curious, and full of puppy energy—always up for an adventure or a cuddle. Like any young pup, Mike will need a patient family to help him learn the ropes as he grows, but his loving nature and goofy charm make him impossible not to adore. If you’re looking for a fun, talkative companion with tons of heart, Mike Wazowski might be your guy!

Hi! My name is Henry Waternoose, and I am from Arkansas! From his foster: Puppies don’t get much better than Henry Waternoose. He’s well behaved, easy going, and gentle. He sleeps through the night, happily greets strangers, and is highly food motivated which makes training easier. Need a buddy for the kids? Henry thinks tiny humans are great! Have a dog already? Henry loves to play! Although his name is from Monster’s Inc, his mission is not to collect screams but rather lots and lots of snuggles. Henry doesn’t like to snuggle up next to you. Henry likes to snuggle on you. If you think Henry sounds like he’s a good fit for your home it’s because he probably is.

Story
Hi! My name is Jimmy Chew and I am a happy-go-lucky boy, with a great personality, inquisitive nature, and playful energy, oh and I am handsome if I do say so myself. I am a Collie born approx 10/4/24. My favorite things are balls, ropes, stuffed toys and while I would love for you to play with me I am also very happy to just play with these things by myself too. Some of the toys get a little worse for wear with me around so my mom also gives me plenty of chews to keep me busy. I do pretty good in my crate, but I will bark if I can hear you walking around in the house and you are keeping me out of the fun. I sleep well in there and have been good when left alone. I am doing well at going potty outside although once in a while I get a little over excited and leak a little, I am working on that. I am underfoot on a walk but I am already improving. And I love zooming around my yard outside- I literally run circles around my mom and foster brothers. And I like to swim! I’m good with kids, love other dogs, and am untested with cats. Is that enough about me? Do you want to pet me? Throw the ball? Tug the rope? Maybe I will answer more questions once you talk em home! LETS PLAY! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $585.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 15, 2025, 10:17 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $250 plus taxMeet Finn Finn is an 8-year-old, 50-lb mellow guy who loves napping, short walks, and hanging out near his people. He enjoys toys (especially if treats are involved!), can be cuddly, and also appreciates his personal space. Finn is anxious around loud noises and reactive when he sees other dogs, so he’s looking for a quiet home where he can be the only pet. He hasn’t lived with cats but has ignored chickens. He greets people calmly outside the home and politely “announces” visitors with a bark. He does best with a predictable routine and would thrive in a home where someone is around more often—his current home’s 12-hour shifts are just too hard on him. Respectful children are fine. Finn is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and eats a prescription urinary diet. If you’re looking for a loyal, laid-back companion, Finn is ready to meet you.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.  We do not transport to potential adopters. How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance.  Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history. //

Extroverts Unite (and fans of extroverts)!! I want to meet you, your family, neighbors, friends, neighbors friends, friends of neighbors, your mail-person, any random person walking down the street. I want to meet everyone! I love people, other animals, everyone! My favorite thing is being the life of the party! I often get complimented for bringing the energy to the dog park. I like to be chased and can get almost any dog to play with me: older dogs - yes, puppies - absolutely, herding breeds - try and catch me! Although I don’t need another dog in my future home, I do love having another pup to play and cuddle with.Cuddling is another happy place for me. I love to be held and cuddled. Despite my size, I consider myself a lap dog. If I can’t be in your lap or right next to you, holding my paw is sufficient. I will try and get in your lap or put my front paws on your chest. I am realizing this is not acceptable behavior and working on it. I also will give you puppy nibbles if you stop petting me, don’t pet me or I am overly stimulated, another thing I am working on. If you give me a chew toy I can easily be redirected. I especially love tug ropes, kongs, benebone/nylabones and puzzles.Ugh, the crate. Do we have to go there? It is a love/hate relationship. I will go in there, I will hang out in it but I don’t like the door closed and/or locked. I am sure I could get over this and learn to enjoy the crate, if necessary. If you need a companion in the car, pick me! I will go anywhere! Wherever you are planning to go a road trip from coast to coast, a spin around the block, errands, or sporting events I want to come along too. I enjoy a car ride. Most importantly, let’s meet!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $500To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hello there! My name is Otis, and I just wanted to introduce myself. They tell me I have an infectious smile, and I can't help it—I'm just a really happy guy! My favorite things in the world are tasty treats and making you proud. Because I'm highly food-motivated and eager to please, I already know a few basic commands, and I'm always ready to learn something new!I'm a good boy inside, too. I'm housetrained and totally comfortable in my kennel. It's my cozy little den, and I'll settle right in for my naps during the day and for a good night's sleep. When it comes to my friends, I'm the best! I get along wonderfully with other dogs when we're playing off-leash. And kids? Oh, I'm super gentle and patient with them. They're the best to cuddle with! Now, I do have to be honest about a couple of things. I'm still learning my manners when I'm on my leash—I don't love it when strange dogs get too close. I'm working hard on that! Also, I have a big voice and I like to use it to let you know what's going on... so an apartment probably wouldn't be the best fit for my opera singing.I'm playful, affectionate, and ready to be an active, cherished member of your family. All I need is a loving home where I can share my big smile with you every single day!Are you ready to meet your best friend? I know I am!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi there, I’m Barney - yep, that Barney! Big-hearted, friendly, and always ready for fun. I may not be purple, but I’ve definitely got the “I love you, you love me” vibes down pat. At 2 years old, I’m the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. I adore meeting new friends, both human and furry, and I’m an expert napper and top-tier cuddler.I’m still polishing up my house manners, but I’m a smart boy—think of me as your very own dino-in-training. With a little guidance, I’ll have everything down in no time. I love playing with other dogs, but I’d also be totally happy being your one and only sidekick. And great news—I don’t need a fenced yard; I’m just excited to go wherever my people go.If you’re looking for a cheerful, affectionate buddy who’s always ready to play, then curl up, then play again… I think we could make a dino-mite team!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
