Story
I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by The Wilbur Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $400.00 will be applied during the contract process. Hi, my name is Ringo, and I am from Tennessee! Ringo is a special dog. He’s a male Australian Cattle Dog/Red Speckled Heeler, and true to his breed. Instead of trying to move cattle along, another dog will do! In play he will nip at my dog’s heels, which inspires her to more play and soon both dogs are rolling around, then up and racing around the obstacle course in my back yard! Ringo plays hard, but gently. He loves to jump up after squirrels and birds in the trees and bushes, so he’ll need a 5 foot or higher fence. Then with a single call “come” he responds and comes on command. He’s smart, easy to please, and will look to his person for assurance, for he experiences separation anxiety. He has progressed so much, but he will need a person with patience and is willing to help him feel less anxious. Also, a resident dog about his size (30-40 lbs) will help him become less dependent on his person. Ringo is very well behaved in the house and on walks. With training he’s learning to not react to other dogs and their people. He is very gentle with my cat and has warmed up to my 11 year old granddaughter. On a short leash he has not reacted nervously to small children. He will bark loudly at certain outside noises or when in the car and people walk by but is learning to stop barking when commanded to stop. Each day he seems to relax more as he experiences new activities and sights. He enjoys his walks and won’t wander far from your side, often checking to see you following. Training assistance has been very beneficial to Ringo. At this time a woman would be the best fit for Ringo, with slow introductions to men/boys he does not know. He definitely has a gentleness about him, and would love a forever home.

Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi! My name is Miso, and I am from Arkansas! From the foster: Miso is the sweetest little boy! He is a little shy with new people, but warms up quickly. He has great puppy energy - he plays hard and naps hard! He is very food motivated and very smart, so he is already learning new tricks and commands. We are working on potty training and learning to use our inside voice. He likes to talk (bark) and will even "sing" (howl) when he gets really excited. He has been such a joy to have in our home!

Story
Hi, I’m Merlin! I’m a young, goofy, lovable guy with one very important mission in life: be near my people at all times. If you’re on the couch, I’m on the couch. If you’re walking to another room, I’m right behind you. If you sit down, I may be in your lap before you even realize what happened. And if I’m not in your lap, I’ll happily park myself at your feet so I can keep tabs on you. Sometimes I’ll even give your toes a little lick just to remind you I’m still here. 😂 When I first arrived, I had a LOT of energy and apparently believed pacing around the house nonstop was a perfectly reasonable hobby. Thankfully, I’ve learned that resting is also an option! I still love my walks and getting my zoomies out, but when everyone settles down, I can settle down too. I especially enjoy a good couch-and-lap session because, honestly, I am just a baby who needs snuggles. Speaking of playing, I’ve learned FETCH! I’ll bring the ball back, although I’m still working on the whole “give it back” portion of the game. I also love tug-of-war and wrestling around on the floor. I may give you some gentle puppy-style nibbling during our wrestling matches, but I know not to bite too hard. I’m also a serious chewer, so durable toys and chew bones are very important to me. Plastic toys? Let’s just say I believe they are snacks. 😬 I’m also becoming quite the little gentleman! I’ve learned sit, down, and shake, and I have completely transformed my mealtime manners. I used to act like I hadn’t eaten in approximately 47 years and would launch myself at the food bowl. Now I go to the kitchen rug, sit, and wait. When my food is ready, I’ll even shake your hand before I eat. And yes, I do it EVERY TIME. My foster mom thinks it’s adorable, and frankly, I agree. 😎 My potty training is going really well, too! I’ve had only one accident in the past couple of weeks, and I’ve figured out that pacing by the door is a pretty good way to tell my people I need to go outside. I keep my kennel clean, too. I’m getting really good at kennel time and will even go in there sometimes just to hang out with the door open. I understand that bedtime means bedtime, and I sleep in my kennel at night like a good boy. Now, I do have a few things I’m still working on. New people make me a little nervous because, honestly, EVERYTHING used to seem new to me. I want to say hello, but then I’m not totally sure about it, so I might get a little jumpy. I’m improving every day and learning that people are pretty great. I’m also not a fan of the car. I’m slowly realizing they aren’t terrifying and will eventually watch out the window, but getting me into one still requires some convincing. Loud things like lawnmowers and leaf blowers can also make me nervous. I don’t try to run away—instead, I look to my people for reassurance or head for the door because surely someone can let me back inside. 😂 The vacuum is another work in progress, but I’m getting there! And then there’s my greatest talent: being spectacularly clumsy. I have been known to sit down and somehow fall over, run into things, get tangled in my leash, and even take an unfortunate tumble down the stairs. I’m also a sock thief. I sneak off with socks as though nobody can possibly see me doing it. Spoiler alert: they can. I’m affectionate, playful, funny, and very much still learning how to be the best version of myself. But underneath all my goofy puppy antics is a boy who just wants to love someone and be loved right back. I’ll follow you around, keep you company, snuggle you on the couch, and make you laugh every single day. I’m still young, so I’ll need someone who understands that I’m a work in progress—but if you’re looking for a loyal little shadow with a huge heart, I might just be your guy. ❤️🐾 *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.*

Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This boy was dumped with siblings and is a sweetheart! He is very friendly and gets along with other dogs. He has some housetraining and also knows how to use a dog door. He has done okay on a leash and in a crate. He will need daily exercise but is not overly energetic. He is ready to get a forever home.

Story
Sir Skedaddleton: The Hand-Holding Agility Star Ready to Zoom Into Your Heart!   Meet Sir Skedaddleton, a handsome Border Collie mix puppy born in October 2025 who is ready to skedaddle right into your heart. Found as a resilient local stray and saved from the impound, this joyful social butterfly absolutely loves everyone he meets and is officially looking for his forever kingdom.    He is an incredibly friendly guy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. When it comes to cats, he is mostly just curious, watching them with a funny "what on earth are you?" look of pure confusion.   This smart pup is already fully house trained and crate trained like a total professional, and he is eager to show off the tricks he already knows, like sit and shake. However, because he can sometimes vocalize and bark when he wants attention in his kennel, he will do best in a home with no shared walls, making apartments or townhomes a tough fit.  Sir Skedaddleton is also a vibrant young dog who lives up to his name with epic, joyful bursts of zoomies. Thanks to his natural intelligence and athletic drive, he would make a fantastic agility partner for an active owner. Because he still gets so excited that he jumps up and mouths during playtime, he would be best suited for a family with older kids who can handle his enthusiastic energy.   Sir Skedaddleton is always ready for your next big adventure, though he is still working hard on his leash manners because he tends to pull out of sheer excitement to explore the world. He travels well on road trips and has the most endearing habit of wanting to gently hold your hand while you drive. With a little continued training and a lot of love, this affectionate, clever boy is going to make the ultimate loyal companion.   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 31, 2026, 10:18 pm

Hi, I'm Zucchini! 🐾I may have a funny name, but I'm a pretty amazing girl! I'm a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, weighing in at a lean 44 pounds, and I'm looking for my forever family. If you're looking for a loyal best friend, I think we'd get along great. I love being with my people, whether we're out exploring or snuggled up on the couch. I'm super smart (if I do say so myself!) and I love anything that makes me think, especially puzzle toys.I'm already house-trained and crate-trained, so I'm ready to settle right into my new home. Oh, and fun fact—my two best friends are hairless cats, so I'm pretty cool with feline roommates too!My favorite things in the world are going for walks, running as fast as my legs can carry me, playing tug-of-war, and learning new things. I'd love a family that will keep my mind busy, my body active, and save plenty of time for cuddles.I get so excited to spend the day playing with my dog friends at daycare. I can be a little cautious when meeting new dogs, so I appreciate slow, thoughtful introductions. Once I decide they’re a friend, we’re best buddies for life! When I’m on leash, I can get overwhelmed when I see other dogs or children. I would do best with a family who can help me navigate those situations with patience, guidance, and plenty of encouragement. If you're looking for a smart, loving, adventurous sidekick who's always ready for the next adventure (or the next nap beside you), I can't wait to meet you. I promise to love you with my whole heart. ❤️--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi, I’m Noah, and if your perfect day includes a happy dog by your side for every adventure and every cozy moment in between… I AM THE DOG FOR YOU! I describe myself as having the heart of a loyal companion, the spirit of a true adventurer, and an endlessly devoted nature that I can’t wait to share with my future family.Just a little about me. I’m happiest right beside you — whether we’re road-tripping it across Minnesota, exploring new trails along the way, or curled up next to each other at the end of a busy day. Wherever you go, that’s exactly where I want to be.My foster family says I’m a special little dude: I’m clever, charming, playful, and incredibly affectionate. I LOVE being outside, especially riding shotgun on car rides and keeping yard patrol from my favorite perch on the deck. But what I love most of all is simply being part of your everyday life — the big moments, the little ones, and everything in between.I’m a pretty smart cookie, too! I’m fully potty-trained and eager to learn new things. At 40 pounds, I’m the perfect size— big enough to keep up with you on all of your adventures but small enough to curl-up on your lap for movie night snuggles.Belly rubs are high on my list of favorite things — right alongside quality time with the people I love. I’m wonderful with kids of all ages and get along great with dogs of every size, too. My ideal home includes an active family (or a playful dog buddy) that wants to include me in all of life’s adventures.I’m ready to give my whole heart to a family who’s looking for a loyal sidekick to live a long and joyful life with. Could that be you? Let’s meet!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
