Meet Flax!
With her stunning merle coat, bright eyes, and constantly wagging tail, Flax is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! This 2-year-old, 32-pound Collie mix is the perfect size for just about any adventure and is ready to find a forever family to call her own.
Flax is the definition of a happy dog. She wakes up each day excited to see her people, always ready for the next game of fetch, a long walk, or simply some quality cuddle time. Toss a tennis ball, and you'll instantly become her favorite person! When playtime is over, she's just as happy soaking up pets and relaxing by your side.
This sweet girl is wonderfully social and gets along great with other dogs. She loves meeting new people and greets everyone with a wagging tail and an infectious enthusiasm that's impossible not to smile at. Whether you're heading out on a road trip or running errands, Flax is the perfect travel companion and rides beautifully in the car.
Flax is fully house-trained and knows sit, come, and stay. She walks nicely on leash overall, though she can get a little excited and pull when something catches her attention. Because she's eager to please and loves treats, she's sure to continue learning with a little consistency.
One thing Flax would love? A home where she doesn't have to spend much time in a crate. She's happiest when she can relax out in the house, where she's calm, well-behaved, and not destructive. Give her a comfy spot on the floor, and she'll happily settle in while keeping an eye on her favorite humans.
