My name is Champ! I am such a cutie, 55 lbs and 2 years old. What am I do you ask? I am a combo of Collie, Lab and Terrier and probably some Shepherd too. I think I have a lot of things going on. I have been with my family for about 16 months and due to some personal circumstances, I need to find another home. I live with three young children and love them. I love my human parents and I love the two other dogs I live with also. I am housebroken, totally trustworthy left out (no crate needed) AND I even walk well on a leash. I am a dog that is going to need patience in the transition and someone to help me build my confidence. I am great in my own element but new things scare me and new people! I am not mean - not aggressive, but I do want to cower and run to a corner or under a bed. The other dogs in the home help me with this as I take cues from them so another canine buddy could be great for me. But, more importantly, my humans need to understand I am who I am while also be willing to help me be a bit more confident in my dog body. The collie in me wants a job - I am a smart cookie! Mental and physical stimulation is always good to help whittle away at fear. A fenced in yard is great but it has to be high because I can clear a 4 foot fence! Meet Capri! Capri is a playful energetic and social 6 month old Collie/Terrier/Pit Bull mix puppy weighing in just under 25 pounds! Capri loves to be outside playing with her 4 fur-foster siblings. She can play relentlessly at times so the older dogs don't always appreciate the adorable puppy energy. Other than that, Capri has been the perfect house guest! She's crate trained and sleeps through the night, but is an excellent watchdog. She will bark to alert you if a person or another pup is approaching. She is about 80% housebroken. She will even get your attention in her crate to let you know if she needs to go! Exercise is a must for this little lady! Her foster family is working on her leash training now that she's all up to date on her vaccines! As far as new friends go, Capri is shy at first and a little skittish but NEVER aggressive in any way. Capri would make an excellent companion for just about any family or household! She can't wait to meet you! Capri is currently being fostered in Staten Island, NY. Just check out the eyes on this boy named Ridge!  So full of personality!  A fine 10-month-old Collie mix, he weighs 45 pounds, maturing to between 50 and 55 pounds.  With his long coat of black, white, and a hint of brown throughout, he makes quite the picture!  He’s also a pup with a fine temperament.  He loves to play with people and other dogs.  Ridge is a sweetheart who would be a great addition to your family!  (posted 4/25/23, ME) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $375 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip .
