Story
Sweet puppy boy Christopher, 6-months-old is an adorable mix of Collie and Labrador Retriever.  This charming pup is house and crate trained and gets along with other dogs and cats. Our boy was diagnosed with a heart murmur. Christopher had an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) and it was determined he does not need surgery. We will do another echo in July 2024 and pending those results Christopher will be neutered. If you are interested in adding Christopher to your family you can foster to adopt him, this means he will stay with you One Love will cover medical expenses pertaining to neuter and ultrasound, once both are done we would finalize the adoption. To adopt Christopher please fill  out an application at oneloveanimalrescue.orgTo be considered as this pet's adopter, please go to  https://oneloveanimalrescue.org/adoption-applications/dog-application/ to complete your application. Story
Allegra!  What a beautiful sounding name!  And what does it mean? And why did her foster give her the name Allegra?  Because it describes this beautiful pup so well!  Joyful, Happy, Active!!!  Our Allegra is a Collie/Lab mix who wears her short black and white coat so well that people stop just to look at her!  Allegra is around 4 months old and, although she presently weighs between 20 and 25 pounds now, she’ll mature to between 50 and 60 pounds.  She gets along well with other dogs, kids, and her foster’s cat! Allegra!  What a wonderful girl!  (posted 1/23/24, TN)  **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  March 25, 2024, 8:46 pm

Story
Meet our fantastic four! Kimmie, Serenity, Marvel, and Vada are all 15-week-old Collie and Lab mixes. These four girls weigh 14-17 puppy pounds, and we expect them to mature to around 50 pounds. These playful pups are always ready to chase a ball or simply cuddle up for a nap. They all have medium-length coats, but Kimmie wears a white coat with tan spots, Vada wears a tricolor coat, and Serenity and Marvel both wear silky white coats. These gals get along well with other dogs and cats. Their friendly demeanor tells us that they will make excellent family pets. Adopt one of these beauties and add a dose of unconditional love and endless fun to your life.
