What a sweet and playful boy Trouble is! A 10-month-old, 37 pound Collie/Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie), he presently weighs 27 pounds and will mature to about 45. A pup with higher energy and a goofy personality, he's no couch potato, so he's not going to enjoy watching TV with you on the sofa! He loves toys and affection! What a sweet boy! (posted 12/27/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **December 27, 2025, 10:58 am

Story
Churry is a sweet and playful 8 year-old dog with a heart full of love and a fun spirit. Even though he’s a bit older, he still enjoys playing and being active he has the energy of a much younger pup and the loyalty of a lifelong best friend. Churry would be a great companion for someone looking for a loyal friend who still loves to have fun. He deserves just love, attention, and a safe place to call home. I want to make sure he gets the love and care he deserves.

Story
Meet Amber, a girl whose name couldn’t be more fitting. Just like the soft glow of amber itself, she radiates warmth, comfort, and a gentle kind of joy that reaches you the moment you meet her. At 2 years old and 65 pounds, this gorgeous Collie mix is the very definition of a loving companion—sweet, affectionate, and always hoping to be close enough for you to feel the steady beat of her loyal heart. Amber’s story began in a tiny rural community, where she wandered alone until kind locals stepped in to help her. No one came forward to claim her, but maybe that’s because her real family is still out there—someone who will recognize that she was meant for them. When Critter Cavalry Rescue brought her in, they immediately saw it: her remarkable intelligence, her eagerness to bond, and her gentle, soulful spirit. Amber enjoys every simple pleasure with pure gratitude—exploring the world on her harness, leaning in for affection, and curling up with her beloved stuffed bunny, who has become her constant companion. She loves being brushed, loves being talked to, and really loves being included. Amber gets along with other dogs, though her enthusiasm may be a bit much for calmer companions. As for cats… well, they’re a little mysterious and intimidating to her. But people? She adores them—wholeheartedly. This beautiful girl is ready to become someone’s heart dog… that once-in-a-lifetime companion who fills a home with warmth, softness, and quiet devotion. If you are looking for a dog who will love you with her whole soul, who will share every moment by your side, and who will glow with gratitude for the rest of her life, Amber may be the one you’ve been waiting for.   If you are interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 22, 2025, 9:52 pm

Story
Charlie is 5 years old and full if energy. She loves to be outside and would benefit greatly from being able to run and stretch her legs out daily. She is very smart and knows a lot of tricks and responds decently well to commands. She is a mix of multiple breeds and the perfect size between a small and mid sized dog. She also does the cutest thing when you call her name and she's curious, she will tilt her head to thr side and just look adorable.

He may be shy or a little standoffish at first when meeting new people or experiencing new environments, but he does best when given time, patience, and a calm introduction. Once Barry feels safe and settled, he blossoms into a loving snuggle bug who enjoys being close to his people. He’s an intelligent puppy who likes learning at his own pace, gentle play, and quiet companionship. With consistency and kindness, Barry is growing more confident every day and forming strong bonds with those he trusts. Care Tips for Barry 💛 Slow introductions: Allow Barry to approach new people and situations on his own terms. Avoid forcing interactions. Consistent routine: Regular feeding, walks, and rest times help him feel secure and reduce anxiety. Positive reinforcement: Use praise and treats to encourage confidence and learning. Gentle guidance works best for him. Safe space: Provide a cozy bed or crate where Barry can retreat and relax when he needs downtime. Balanced activity: Short walks, play sessions, and mental stimulation suit his age and body type, followed by plenty of rest. Snuggle time: Once he’s comfortable, physical closeness helps strengthen trust and reassurance. With patience, love, and thoughtful care, Barry will continue to grow into a confident, affectionate companion who brings warmth and joy to his home.
