This eight month old Collie/Lab mix is sweet, smart and playful. We’re absolutely enchanted with his handsome little face and those big, floppy ears. Rhett wants his future family to know that he’s working hard to learn new skills, so he can be the best boy in his new home! He just started leash training and walks pretty calmly. He’s also crate trained and doesn’t mind car rides. The early stages of potty training are going very well. He’s a bit jumpy, but that’s normal and can be easily corrected with training. He just can’t help how excited he is to see you! Rhett dreams of finding a loving family that’s committed to training, daily exercise and positive reinforcement of good behavior. He’s a star student, so we’re confident that training will be a worthwhile and enjoyable experience for him and his family. It takes a lot of time and patience to bring up puppies like Rhett, but the love they give back is so worth it. Could Rhett be the newest addition to your fur-ever family? This includes lots of love, sniffy walks, hikes, doggy playtime (with well matched friends) and can teach her all the fun basic cues that will help her be a perfect angel! Her personality is friendly and sweet. When she looks up at you with those big puppy eyes and floppy ears you`ll instantly melt with love and affection for her. Piper can be a bit selective about what dogs can join her inner circle, so she likely would not be the best fit for a lifestyle that inlcudes doggy daycare or the dog park. Please consider coming by and meeting this very special girl. This is Ruthie May, an Australian Cattle Dog mix born in Arkansas. This sweet-natured girl loves her humans like no other and will suit well in a home where she can get unconditional love and affection. Over the past 4 years with Ruthie May we have learned that she is her best self when surrounded by humans. She will quickly come to you and grab your hands for pets and her favorite, belly rubs. Ruthie needs to be in an only dog household as she gets anxious around other dogs. My husband and I’s financial situation has changed and unfortunately we can no longer take care of her in the capacity that she deserves. She truly is the sweetest dog and we are so sad to be considering rehoming her. If you love a sweet natured and affectionate dog who both loves to play and cuddle on the couch, Ruthie May is your girl.
