As a Rescue do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Meet TRUFFLES 2-3 years of 45 lbs. His gorgeous big beautiful eyes we’ll make heads turn just to look at them. He is dog friendly, has a very wriggly butt. Loves to play with his toys, go on walks maybe go to the beach or just around the block!! Truffles is a calm boy, about 4/10 on the energy scale, nice little dog, good with others. This baby is now looking for forever home. Let’s get him safe into a family of his own.

Story
There are five adorable puppies in our Primrose litter of 10 week old orphans that have just joined our Connecticut Rescue: Claudia, Eliza, Marius, Primrose and Rayne. All the pups in this litter have gentle temperaments and playful, friendly personalities. Despite the chaotic shelter process, these pups have weathered the storm and show no obvious signs of trauma or neglect.  It appears that the pups’ owner unwittingly facilitated an accidental breeding of unaltered adult housemates and then was overwhelmed by puppy love. She offloaded the puppies to a high kill rural North Carolina Shelter, and we were able to transport them to our place in Canterbury, Connecticut.  We have had the puppies DNA tested, and they are a diverse mix of breeds, but 56% of that mix is Collie. The weight range is projected at 40 to 60 pounds, and their working roots suggest that adopters should be prepared to provide a lot of exercise and mental stimulation.  Any of these pups would be an excellent choice for a savvy Working Breed adopter, willing to commit to ongoing training and socialization. They have taken well to basic puppy Positive Reinforcement training techniques and seem to enjoy the learning process. We seek adopters willing to raise them as Canine Good Citizens.  All of these pups could easily join multi-dog homes with older, playful dogs, tolerant of puppy energy. They would thrive with an active single, couple or family with older kids who have been taught to be gentle with young dogs.  All puppies are in excellent health, fully vaccinated and dewormed. If you are interested in one of our Primrose litter mates, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.

Story
Meet me at PawSafe Animal Rescue, 348 Old Colony Rd, Eastford CT Wed 4-6:30/Thurs 10:30-12:30/Sat & Sun 11-1 Meet Mama Aloha. She’s an Aussie/Shepherd‑ish dream girl: smart, playful, and adorably expressive. Once exercised she can happily chill; grab a toy and she’s instantly ready for fun. She’s cute cute cute, gentle to her core, and officially ready for her next chapter. Despite being a stray who almost had to give birth and raise her puppies in a kennel cell, Mama Aloha has done the mom thing beautifully in foster care — now it’s her turn to shine. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, ridiculously sweet companion, she’s ready to say hello to her forever home. She's dog and kid friendly, cats unknown. She is about 2 yrs old, spayed, and medically up to date. Due to MA Dept of Agriculture restrictions, we can not adopt to MA residents.

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $0 WAIVED if picked up in TN, $100 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Lacy, a scruffy, wiry-haired sweetheart with a quirky charm and kisses to spare for anyone within reach. This 1.5-year-old Airedale Terrier mix, possibly with a touch of Collie, weighs 46 pounds and brings a fun mix of friendly and shy all rolled into one funny personality. She loves greeting people with happy kisses, and once she settles in and gets comfortable, she is a total love bug who will lean into every pet and shower you with affection. Her energy adjusts with the moment, ready to play hard or relax depending on what the day calls for. Lacy is quite the athlete and adventurer at heart. She loves playing ball, wrestling with her canine friends, and going on hikes and walks, and she would likely be a big fan of the dog park too. She is very food motivated, and she would love learning new tricks with the right treats involved. She is housetrained when on a consistent routine and knows how to settle into her crate and sit for her leash, though she does best with an open crate setup or a small attached pen rather than being fully confined, since she prefers a little extra room to feel comfortable. Lacy is quite clever and athletic, capable of clearing a four foot fence, among other feats. She lives happily with other dogs and cats and was gentle and a little shy when meeting kids. The best home for Lacy is one where someone is around often and where she has at least one friendly dog companion to keep her company. If you have room in your home and heart for a joyful girl with a spark of mischief, Lacy would love to meet you. Reach out to A.A.R.F. by text at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com to start the application process. Meet this dog at Petco on Saturday, Aug 8th from 1-4 pm CST at Petco, 377 W. Jackson St #11 Cookeville, TN 38501.   Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. August 7, 2026, 12:31 pm
