Tater is the most delicious little nugget you've ever seen! He's around 6 months old and 20ish lbs of chunk. He was adopted as a puppy but recently returned because his adopter had some unfortunate health issues come up. He is such a sweet boy and absolutely loves everyone he meets! He will be an amazing addition to very lucky family! Tater is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Meet Cooper, an adult neutered male Corgi! Cooper is about 3 years old and 20 lbs. He will be arriving in CT on 10/3 and we are accepting applications for him now! He will be required to attend our adoption event in Dayville, CT on 10/4. Corgi show herding tendencies, due to this we recommend older children. His foster said, "Cooper is a happy, super friendly little guy! He gets along great with most dogs. He is very affectionate. He is doing well with house training but might mark initially in a new home so a belly band can be used." Cooper is medically up to date and neutered. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2836832##

Welcome Foxy Lady to CCPAL Rescue. She is a Corgi/Cairn is our best estimate on her breed. She is 15 months old. She has a longer coat and weight about 25 pounds. She should be full grown and if anything may fill out some. She will be a small dog full grown. She is good with other dogs, good in a crate and getting used to Rescue life. She has an adorable underbite and her teeth are in great shape. We think her best home would be with someone who has had a Corgi and has the time to finish her training. I would say moderate to active family is best. She could be with kids. We think 8 or older is best. She likes the women at the shelter and warms up more slowly to new people. She readily accepts women. She will be worked with on her leash manners and she has ridden in the car without problems. Her best home would be a more quiet one that she can get more one on one attention. She would be great for an older couple, or single person that wants a nice companion. She doesn’t seem to be the social butterfly but very content with being home. If you think this sounds like a good fit for you, put in an application. She is a wonderful dog and a head turner for sure. Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Dakota Merle Magic is the kind of little dog who can walk into a room and immediately become the main attraction. With his gorgeous merle coat, beautiful colored eyes, and tiny frame, this 1-year-old spotted Corgi/Mini Husky mix has a look that is impossible to miss. Dakota may be eye-catching, but his personality is just as appealing. He is easygoing, house trained, apartment friendly, and has a comfortable medium energy level that makes him a wonderful companion for everyday life. He does well in a multi-dog home, is small-dog friendly, and is cat tolerant. Dakota enjoys having company around her but does not need to be going nonstop. He is perfectly happy settling in on the couch, curling up in your lap, and enjoying a quieter moment with his person. His small size makes him easy to include in daily life, whether that means relaxing at home, joining you for an outing, or simply being your little shadow throughout the day. He has that perfect mix of being interesting enough to turn heads and easygoing enough to make living with him feel natural. Dakota Merle Magic would be a wonderful fit for someone looking for a handsome, affectionate little companion who can enjoy both activity and downtime.
