Story
Welcome Ana to CCPAL foster/rehome program. Ana is living in Connecticut. She is a 32 pound and 5 year 8 month old Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog. She was adopted as a puppy and now is not getting along with a new Healer in the home. The Corgi part of this pup makes her more suitable for an only home. She is great in a doggy park but not fond of sharing her bed, toys or family with another live in dog. This makes miss Ana in need of a new forever home. She is an affectionate dog. She is potty trained and has good recall when called. She is an alert dog when someone is at the door or something out of place in the yard. She is adorable and will be a great companion for a family. She has been good around all people including strangers. She is currently not around a cat . Ana is a smaller dog with a larger than life personality and looks to match. She is a great walker on leash and has had some training. She is very smart. Ana could have a meet and greet with an approved application. Ana is healthy, spayed and current on vaccines. Rehome fee is a $200 donation to the Rescue. We have included her puppy video when she was in Texas and her current photos now in CT home. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Captain Georgie Corgi-in-Disguise reporting for duty. He is an absolute cuite on a set of little legs that carry a big, loving personality. We suspect he’s a Corgi/Shepherd mix and once you see his video or photos, you’ll understand. Take a look for yourself! Head to YouTube and then come right back to read the rest of his captain’s log. https://youtu.be/yc9LJ-B-5aM Georgie is estimated to be 2 years old and weighs 41 lbs. (Rescue rules apply, so breed and birthday are our best guess.) Georgie is thoughtful when you first meet him and obviously because he is so cute, he attracts a lot of attention and love. The best part is that he is great on leash and checks in often with his person. Insider tip- he loves belly rubs and booty scratches and will work for a treat.. He is very food motivated which always makes training that much more fun! With other dogs, Georgie is social, polite, and confident. He met multiple new dogs and wandered the yard comfortably with them. He is fostered in a home with other dogs and his foster confirmed, he is easy company. When he met a smaller dog, a chihuahua type, he really lit up, was perfectly gentle and we could see his playful side. Unfortunately she isn’t the type to play so his offers went unreturned but it was still very cute to see. A medium-energy dog companion would suit him well but no kitties for Georgie- something in his DNA told him chase and for obvious reasons- cats hate that. Georgie would thrive in a home with a yard or even a townhome setup where he has space to move and explore. Once settled, he does have a bit of energy and would absolutely enjoy hikes and outdoor adventures with his people. He would do best with someone familiar with corgi traits, as he carries that classic thoughtful, loyal, slightly independent streak. Captain Georgie Corgi-in-Disguise is the steady, observant, cuddle-bug type who just happens to also be absolutely adorable and ready for adoption! Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! UPDATE:  ISAAC has had the surgery to remove his cherry eye and all is well.  There is no medicine or daily care that he will need.  This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. If you are interested in adopting Isaac, please submit an application on the website below' www.roxysk9rescue.org   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Meet Ginny, a young adult (approx. 2 years old) spayed female Corgi mix, weighing about 45 lbs!  Ginny is currently in TN and is expected to arrive in CT on 2/21. We are accepting applications on her now!  Ginny is a sweet girl who loves her people, she will happily follow you around and is an excellent cuddler! She also loves car rides and would be thrilled to join you on adventures! While she does ok meeting other dogs, Ginny can be dog selective (she was surrendered by her previous owner due to not getting along with one of the other dogs in the home). She has done well with the other dogs in her TN foster home, however we feel that she would be happiest as an only dog. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats.  Ginny loves people and is a friendly girl but as a young herding breed, we recommend older kids 10+ (as she may try to herd small children). She thrives in a calm home and would love nothing more than to be the center of your attention! Ginny is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2647740##

Story
Meet Willow and Winston! This bonded pair of Pembroke Welsh Corgis, ages 4 and 6, are ready to find a home together. These two are happy, loving, attentive, and delightfully goofy pups who truly thrive in each other's company. They love getting out for walks, curling up on the couch for some quality cuddle time, and spending their days playing together. Willow and Winston would do best in a single-family home with a fenced-in yard and adopters who understand and appreciate the corgi breed. A home without young children will help them feel secure and settled, allowing their sweet and silly personalities to shine. If you are looking for a pair that brings double the love, laughter, and companionship, Willow and Winston might just be the perfect match. If you're interested in adopting Willow and Winston, please contact Our Companions at 860-242-9999 or email Helpline@OurCompanions.org!
