Story
East TN. Out of state welcome! If you’re seeing this on adopt a pet the great news is that transport is inclluded to your area if you are in the northeast and Great Lakes areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs because they are the best! Meet Pablo! This little (yes he’s only 19.4 lbs) cutie found himself at a kill shelter with his brother sibling. No they do not need to stay together. They are not bonded. Pablo is a very confident and happy boy. He is shy and a bit fearful of you raise your hand (so sad) he warms up quickly and has a very sweet disposition. He does fine with children he knows and that know how to respect the dogs space. Probably best in a home with kiddos over the age of 7. He is silly and loveable and absolutely loves to sit on your lap and be loved. He is only 19 lbs and should not get any bigger. He is around 11 months old. House training is coming along great! He does give cues and will hold it if he has to go until you let him out. Apply at petpath.org

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! UPDATE:  ISAAC has had the surgery to remove his cherry eye and all is well.  There is no medicine or daily care that he will need.  This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. If you are interested in adopting Isaac, please submit an application on the website below' www.roxysk9rescue.org   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Bowie is a delightful pure bred Corgi boy that is only 2 years old and truly an A+ boy.   His family thought the idea of having a cute little Corgi running around would be fun, but never thought he might need some attention and love and a little bit of their time.  Seems that after a few short years they decided their life was too busy for a dog and off to the shelter in East Tennessee he went!  Fortunately the shelter contacted Critter Cavalry Rescue and asked if we would help find him a great committed home that would give him what he deserves in life.  Corgis are the best little dogs but they are busy and active and smart, with just a little bit of stubbornness thrown in.  You give them time and training and they will make you smile with delight as they entertain you each day with their antics.  This boy will need a fenced yard or access to a lot of outside exercise with an owner.  They are great dogs with families and this boy lived with children.  He is good with other dogs, housebroken and crate trained.  He will be a very popular boy on the internet so do not hesitate.   If you are interested in this boy please email ccrnewengland@gmail.com  He is ready NOW! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 23, 2024, 9:52 pm

Story
Meet Ann Marie! This gentle little princess is ready to find her kingdom! She is about 15 lbs and 3 yrs old. She is a little shy in new situations but warms up quickly. She lives in a foster home with other dogs and is extremely well-mannered and submissive. Ann Marie is housetrained, crate trained and quiet! She loves collecting toys, sunbathing and cuddles. She walks nicely on a leash and LOVES treats! She would do best in a quieter home/environment. Ann Marie is happy to snooze while you work from home and is good at entertaining herself. She is not destructive but can't resist hiding a shoe in her crate when she finds one! If you'd like to make this adorable girl queen of your castle email info@joyrides.org to request an app! Ann Marie is being fostered in Houston, TX and is available for adoption locally and also out of state (NE region) - she would come to her new family via professional transport.
