Story
Female • 1–2 Years Old • Pit Mix • Heartworm Negative • On ProHeart 6 • Deaf Prada is a beautiful, affectionate young pit mix with a heart full of love and a personality that shines. She may be deaf, but she communicates wonderfully with her people and learns quickly with hand signals. What she lacks in hearing, she more than makes up for in loyalty, sweetness, and cuddles. 🌟 Personality Loving, clingy in the cutest way, and absolutely adores her humans Will climb right into your lap if you sit down—she’s a total lovebug Loves belly rubs and soaks up affection Very attentive visually, always checking in with her person Learning hand signals and doing well with direction and recall Wants to be close—she’s usually right at your side 🐕 Other Pets Prada should not live with small dogs or cats. She does best with dogs her own size or larger only if they are a good match. A home without small pets is ideal for her. 🩺 Health Heartworm negative On ProHeart 6 Healthy and up-to-date on care 🏡 Ideal Home Prada would thrive with a family who will continue her hand-signal training and give her all the love she craves. She’s happiest when she can be near her person—whether that’s on walks, hanging out in the house, or snuggling on the couch. Someone patient, loving, and consistent would be perfect for her. ❤️ Why You’ll Love Prada Her sweet, affectionate nature makes her impossible not to fall for. Prada looks to her people for guidance and companionship, and she bonds deeply. If you want a loyal, cuddly, loving companion who greets you with full-body wiggles and endless devotion, Prada is your girl. Prada is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. Story
Meet Ginny, a young adult (approx. 2 years old) spayed female Corgi mix, weighing about 45 lbs!  Ginny is currently in TN and is expected to arrive in CT on 2/21. We are accepting applications on her now!  Ginny is a sweet girl who loves her people, she will happily follow you around and is an excellent cuddler! She also loves car rides and would be thrilled to join you on adventures! While she does ok meeting other dogs, Ginny can be dog selective (she was surrendered by her previous owner due to not getting along with one of the other dogs in the home). She has done well with the other dogs in her TN foster home, however we feel that she would be happiest as an only dog. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats.  Ginny loves people and is a friendly girl but as a young herding breed, we recommend older kids 10+ (as she may try to herd small children). She thrives in a calm home and would love nothing more than to be the center of your attention! Ginny is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2647740##

Story
Welcome Ana to CCPAL foster/rehome program. Ana is living in Connecticut. She is a 32 pound and 5 year 8 month old Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog. She was adopted as a puppy and now is not getting along with a new Healer in the home. The Corgi part of this pup makes her more suitable for an only home. She is great in a doggy park but not fond of sharing her bed, toys or family with another live in dog. This makes miss Ana in need of a new forever home. She is an affectionate dog. She is potty trained and has good recall when called. She is an alert dog when someone is at the door or something out of place in the yard. She is adorable and will be a great companion for a family. She has been good around all people including strangers. She is currently not around a cat . Ana is a smaller dog with a larger than life personality and looks to match. She is a great walker on leash and has had some training. She is very smart. Ana could have a meet and greet with an approved application. Ana is healthy, spayed and current on vaccines. Rehome fee is a $200 donation to the Rescue. We have included her puppy video when she was in Texas and her current photos now in CT home. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Foxy is a wonderful 6.5-year-old Corgi/Shiba Inu mix who is looking for her forever home. Weighing 39 pounds, Foxy is a beautiful and incredibly intelligent dog with a loving personality that shines once she builds trust. Foxy thrives on daily exercise, enjoying walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. She is house-trained and knows basic commands. Her favorite things include playing fetch, chewing on her toys, and relaxing with her licky pad. Foxy would do best in a calm, structured home with an owner experienced in handling reactive dogs. She can be wary of new people and other dogs, but with patience, consistency, and understanding, she quickly opens up to reveal her goofy and affectionate nature. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!! UPDATE:  ISAAC has had the surgery to remove his cherry eye and all is well.  There is no medicine or daily care that he will need.  This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. If you are interested in adopting Isaac, please submit an application on the website below' www.roxysk9rescue.org   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         November 7, 2024, 5:10 am

Story
Captain Georgie Corgi-in-Disguise reporting for duty. He is an absolute cuite on a set of little legs that carry a big, loving personality. We suspect he’s a Corgi/Shepherd mix and once you see his video or photos, you’ll understand. Take a look for yourself! Head to YouTube and then come right back to read the rest of his captain’s log. https://youtu.be/yc9LJ-B-5aM Georgie is estimated to be 2 years old and weighs 41 lbs. (Rescue rules apply, so breed and birthday are our best guess.) Georgie is thoughtful when you first meet him and obviously because he is so cute, he attracts a lot of attention and love. The best part is that he is great on leash and checks in often with his person. Insider tip- he loves belly rubs and booty scratches and will work for a treat.. He is very food motivated which always makes training that much more fun! With other dogs, Georgie is social, polite, and confident. He met multiple new dogs and wandered the yard comfortably with them. He is fostered in a home with other dogs and his foster confirmed, he is easy company. When he met a smaller dog, a chihuahua type, he really lit up, was perfectly gentle and we could see his playful side. Unfortunately she isn’t the type to play so his offers went unreturned but it was still very cute to see. A medium-energy dog companion would suit him well but no kitties for Georgie- something in his DNA told him chase and for obvious reasons- cats hate that. Georgie would thrive in a home with a yard or even a townhome setup where he has space to move and explore. Once settled, he does have a bit of energy and would absolutely enjoy hikes and outdoor adventures with his people. He would do best with someone familiar with corgi traits, as he carries that classic thoughtful, loyal, slightly independent streak. Captain Georgie Corgi-in-Disguise is the steady, observant, cuddle-bug type who just happens to also be absolutely adorable and ready for adoption! Ready to welcome this undercover corgi onto your crew? Apply today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6993908f415d4eaf080d44a3 Questions?
