Needs to be in a home with only him. He is great with people of all ages - loves all the attention. We adopted him from an older couple and wasn’t told about his behavior with other pets. Took him to all dogs unleashed and had little progress. Now having a baby we can’t dedicate time to correct his behavior, we want him to get a chance at a better home not end up in a shelter. Meet Tribble (Formerly "Trouble" — but Tribble is cuter. Plus, Star Trek.) Tribble's story didn't start the way she deserved. This chunky little Corgi-Chihuahua mix was found on the side of a road in Slidell, TX — motionless, with wounds, and very much in need of someone to show up for her. A Good Samaritan did, and Wise County Animal Control brought her in. She was microchipped. We got excited. We thought we'd found her person. Instead, we learned that her original owner — the woman who loved her — had passed away. Her husband rehomed her, lost track of who he'd given her to, and declined to pick her up when we called. (We're not naming names, but someone is going to be haunted. Just saying.) The new owners never came. So Tribble came to us. And here's what we found: underneath the road rash and the hard luck was a spicy, sassy, deeply loving little dog who just needed someone to earn her trust. Once you do? She is a world-class cuddle bug. A velcro dog. A "sit on your feet and stare at you with complete devotion" kind of girl. Meet Hampton 💙 Hampton is the kind of puppy who would happily spend the afternoon outside in the grass, watching the world go by, chewing on a little stick, and minding his own business. He is also the kind of puppy who will look you directly in the eyes when you say, “Okay, buddy, time to go inside,” and politely inform you that he has no intention of doing that. Unless you have treats. 😂 One of the Funky Bunch from momma Ginny June, Hampton is a gentle little guy with an old-soul personality and the sweetest kisses. He absolutely loves his people, and apparently anyone holding a treat immediately qualifies as his new best friend. He's happiest lounging outside, people-watching, playing with his toys, or settling in for a good nap. He doesn't need to be the center of attention every second, but he'll happily wander back over for some cuddles, ear scratches, or booty rubs. Hampton is still building his confidence on a leash and can be nervous about walking outside, but he's a big fan of stroller rides and is making progress with his foster family. He's crate trained, gets along well with other dogs, and is learning that the world is a pretty safe and exciting place. He's playful when the mood strikes, cuddly when you're available, and perfectly content to entertain himself when you're busy. Basically, Hampton is a sweet, thoughtful little dude who just needs a little encouragement to come out of his shell. And maybe a few snacks. Okay, probably a lot of snacks. 💙🐾

Meet Ginny June 💛 22 pounds of Corgi. One very big personality. And, apparently, part goat. Ginny June was picked up in South Dallas with her funky little bunch of puppies, and after raising her babies, this girl is officially ready for a life that's all about her. She's around 3 years old and is an energetic little goofball who thinks life is best spent running, wrestling, exploring, and occasionally climbing things she probably has no business climbing. Her foster has sent us photographic evidence, and honestly... we see the goat allegations. 😂 Ginny loves playing with her foster dog sibling and will happily zoom around the yard before checking back in with her people. She's adventurous without being a runner, and she likes knowing where her humans are. Call her and she'll come check in, because apparently even a part-time goat knows where her people are. She's affectionate and people-oriented without being completely attached at the hip. Think: "I'll hang out over here, but I'm keeping tabs on you." Just don't mistake that for lazy. Ginny has places to go and things to investigate. She'll do best with an active family who can give her plenty of outlets for her energy and busy little brain. Walks, playtime, adventures, and a good game of "what can I climb today?" are very much her speed. A family with kids who want a four-legged playmate could be a great fit, too. Ginny is crate trained, housetrained, fully vetted, food-motivated, playful, affectionate, and good with other dogs. A note for her future family: Ginny is not good with cats or chickens, so she'll need a home without either. After raising her funky bunch, Ginny June is ready to retire from motherhood and fully embrace her new career as an adventure buddy, wrestling champion, professional climber, and resident comedian. Basically, she's a Corgi. With a few goat tendencies. And we're pretty sure she's going to keep things interesting. 💛
