Story
Bella was a originally a stray that I adopted from a shelter in Fort Worth. Bella is so wonderful, she’s gentle and sweet, she loves to run around and play. She loves long walks. She walks very very well off and on leash. She loves head scratches. Such a cutie with lots of personality. It takes her time to get used to you picking her up. She gets frightened when you come at her from behind too abruptly when wanting to pick her up. She has a bit of allergies, so a vet check up would be very beneficial for her. She’s chipped, altered, and up to date with vaccinations. I love her but with my busy schedule unfortunately will not be able to give her the time and attention she deserves. She needs a loving family that will take great care of her and give her the best life possible.

Story
Charlie loves naps. He hasn’t seen a dog toy he didn’t want to pull all the stuffing out of, except one. He loves his squirrel toy and his dinosaur toy. He’s my sister’s dog, but she died recently. He likes a cool floor and a nice dog bed. When it is cold in the house (with air conditioning), he likes to go outside and sit in the sun at lunch. He likes to play fetch down the hallway, a little bit— he gets tired of the game quickly. He travels locally well and is okay around crowds. He doesn’t bark hardly at all, especially in a crowd situation. He is 14 and is really starting to show his age. He lays around all day, moving from dog bed to dog bed, to bath mat, to floor and back to dog bed. He likes having his back scratched and his nose scratched. He has allergies, currently untreated. Not sure how he would do with a cat. He herds—if we aren’t heading to bed at a certain hour, he barks— like aren’t you going to bed, lol! If he’s in a narrow space, he might bite.

Story
Meet Tribble  (Formerly "Trouble" — but Tribble is cuter. Plus, Star Trek.) Tribble's story didn't start the way she deserved. This chunky little Corgi-Chihuahua mix was found on the side of a road in Slidell, TX — motionless, with wounds, and very much in need of someone to show up for her. A Good Samaritan did, and Wise County Animal Control brought her in. She was microchipped. We got excited. We thought we'd found her person. Instead, we learned that her original owner — the woman who loved her — had passed away. Her husband rehomed her, lost track of who he'd given her to, and declined to pick her up when we called. (We're not naming names, but someone is going to be haunted. Just saying.) The new owners never came. So Tribble came to us. And here's what we found: underneath the road rash and the hard luck was a spicy, sassy, deeply loving little dog who just needed someone to earn her trust. Once you do? She is a world-class cuddle bug. A velcro dog. A "sit on your feet and stare at you with complete devotion" kind of girl. She'll absolutely put some pep in your step — she has opinions and she shares them. But for the right person, she is everything. Tribble needs: An experienced dog owner who understands big personality in a small package A home without young children Either an only-dog household, OR a confident dog who can hold their own (she's been around other dogs but has her spicy moments) Tribble comes with: Current vaccinations Spayed and microchipped Potty trained A love of her crate — it's her safe place, her fortress of solitude Tribble has already survived more than she should have had to. She's ready for her final chapter to be a good one. Could that be with you? ##2771284##

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.💖🐾 Meet Massie 💖🐾This sweet girl is about 1 year old, weighs 22 lbs, and is still available for adoption. Her adoption fee is $300. 🌟Massie came to us as an owner surrender because she was pregnant and had shown interest in the family’s chickens. She was placed with a foster until she went into labor — heartbreakingly, both of her babies were stillborn. 💔 With the help of our hospital team, she spent several weeks healing, regaining her strength, and preparing for her second chance at life. Now, Massie is ready to find her forever home. She is a little sweetheart who wants nothing more than love, cuddles, and treats. 🍪💕 She thrives on human affection and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. Here at the shelter, we haven’t yet found a playmate she connects with in the yards. It may be the environment, or it may simply be her preference — but what we do know is that she shines brightest when she’s with people. 🐶✨Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether she is housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionAdopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.Massie is a resilient, loving pup who’s ready to leave her past behind and step into a future filled with love, treats, and companionship. Could she be the one to brighten your home? 🌈🐾
