We got Asher from the DeKalb County Animal Services in October of 2020. He's almost 7, but he's still super spry. He was born in October of 2019. He is great with kids and cats. He's good around other dogs, especially at dog parks and on walks; however, sometimes he needs a good sniff to make sure though.Unfortunately, we are looking to rehome him because my allergies have become worse with the hormonal issues, I'm having and I'm unable to get them to go away. The allergies have become unbearable and have left little to no quality of life for me, who's always in a room where he isn't, or Asher is crated to limit him from rooms of the house that I have to be in - that's no way for him to live and I can't bear for him to live like this anymore either.He's a really sweet dog that would not harm a soul. Any person/family would be lucky to have him. He's fun, loving and just wants to be loved and around people.

🐾🧡 EVERETT 🧡🐾 Everett is 9 pounds, estimated to be around 9 months old, and assumed to be a Dachshund/terrier mix. Everett came to us from a local county shelter after being found hiding under a porch with Sullivan. He is now ready to find the perfect home where he will be loved and cherished forever! Looking directly at Everett may cause immediate heart-melting because he is painfully cute. Everett is a total social butterfly who adores people, loves playing with toys, and gets along with both dogs and cats. He is a total velcro dog! If you’re sitting down, he wants to be in your lap, and if you’re moving, he’ll be right at your heels. He is pretty great on a leash for daily strolls, but his absolute favorite activity is frolicking in the grass, so a home with a yard would be a dream come true for him. Everett still has plenty of adorable puppy tendencies. He is eager to please, but he will thrive best with a patient family who can gently guide him as he continues to learn how to be the very best dog he can be. When kept on a consistent routine, Everett does his potty business outside. He is also doing amazing with crate-training. Jax is a soon-to-be 5-month-old dachshund puppy who is full of energy, love, and personality. He is playful, affectionate, curious, and loves being around people. Like most dachshund puppies, he enjoys exploring, playing, and being involved in whatever is going on around him. He is currently being potty trained and is comfortable using puppy pads. Please I need help I really don’t want to rehome him he’s my soul dog I’ve had him for 3 years but I’m going through a lot I’m 18 my passed to years and housing with dogs is so hard I’m open to rehoming but if anyone can welcome him in and still allow me to see him I love this dog with all of my heart and I just can’t put him in a shelter he has separation anxiety and that’s why I’m scared I’m don’t want him to get depressed if anyone can help I’ll pay for everything he would need

Liza is a 5 year old, 13 lb Poodle mix (with what we suspect is a splash of Dachshund) who has perfected the art of living her best life. Her daily schedule is simple: eat breakfast, immediately request a potty break, race around the yard with her foster siblings at top speed, play with every toy she can find, demand belly rubs, and then curl up next to her favorite human like she pays the bills. She’s incredibly loyal and happiest when she’s with her family. Whether you’re watching TV, working from home, or just existing, Liza believes your lap (or at least the spot right beside you) is exactly where she belongs. She’s also a bit of a food critic. Fancy training treats? Meh. Carrots? Hard pass. Fruit? Absolutely not. She’d like to file a formal complaint that affection isn’t sold by the pound because belly rubs are the only reward she truly values. Liza is crate trained while you’re away, enjoys the comfort of a routine, and is ready to bring plenty of laughs, love, and cuddles to her forever family. Buddy has been with us for 2 1/2 years. He has been around children for all of this time and we have had no issues but he recently bit a child. We have two foster children so we can no longer keep him. I suggest he not be adopted in a home with children.
