Story
Lady is a rescue dog we adopted from a vet who lived in Tennessee. She is 6 yrs old. Lady doesn’t like to be alone and she will follow you from room to room, waiting for you to sit down so she can come up and cuddle against you. She is quite the guard dog and will alert you to anyone or any thing that comes near your house or by your door. She has some anxiety and is scared of thunderstorms and firecrackers. She can become carsick on car trips. I have a new position that requires travel and my husband’s job is erratic. Lady doesn’t do well with being crated for long periods of time and she will pee in the crate when left for long hours. The 8-9+ hr work week is too much for her and we are hoping for a family that doesn’t require that crate time. We tried leaving her out but she chewed the blinds (costly). We have no children so we don’t know how she is with children over the long run.

We actually have the two, Piglet the mother who is about four and Peanut the daughter about three. We got them from a shelter about two years ago but they really need more space and my wife and I are seniors with tight schedules and are unable to give them as much time outside and attention as they deserve. They are quite affectionate but rambunctious. Good with even small kids (including our granddaaughter who visits often) but not so with other dogs.

I got Hank around December of 2023. He is so loving and sweet. He loves to cuddle and run around outside. He just turned 3 years old. He deserves a loving home he has some past trauma from being abused and tries his best to be protective over his owner. He LOVES treats and toys. He also really loves to play with other dogs, he’s very playful in general.
