Meet Penelope Featherington—affectionately known as Penny by her foster family! She’s about 1½ years old and came to rescue alongside 29 of her housemates from a hoarding situation. Penny is just beginning to learn what it feels like to be loved and is currently working on potty and crate training. Penny can still be shy and may not be her best self around small children, but she absolutely adores other dogs and thrives on their companionship. Need a professional lap warmer? She’s your girl! She loves being near both people and dogs and is happiest snuggled up in a cozy lap or cuddling with her furry friends. Her foster family says she especially enjoys staying warm and cozy—she’s definitely not a fan of cold and windy days (can you blame her?). Penny would do best in a patient home where she can continue learning to go outside reliably, take walks, and feel confident in a crate. Older kids or adults are ideal for her, as she blossoms best with gentle guidance and calm energy. If you keep a lap open, Penny will happily fill it with love, snuggles, and devotion. She’s a very sweet, loving pup ready to find her perfect forever home. Meet this adorable little Doxie-ish mama, around 24 years old and just 15 pounds of sweetness ! She came to us from a hoarding situation, so the world was a big, scary place at first. During her first week in foster care, she was shy and unsureshe didnt know basic commands or even how to walk on a leash. But wow, has she come a long way! Now, shes truly blossoming. Her tail wags, her personality is shining through, and shes even discovered some quirky habitslike sleeping in the funniest spots (yes, even on top of her kennel!). She may still let out a bark at neighbors or her reflection, but shes learning quickly and settles down with a gentle reminder! Shes been working hard and already knows sit, stay, down, and outsidesuch a smart girl! She absolutely loves to snuggle and may occasionally climb right up to your face for affection, but with a little guidance, she happily curls up beside you. She gets along well with her fosters beagle but can feel overwhelmed in large groups of dogs, so a calmer home or smaller pack would suit her best. This sweet girl is playful, loving, and full of personality. Shes overcome so much and is ready to keep growing with a family who will guide her with patience and love. At 8 weeks of age (born mid January) Leonardo is a ball of energy! He loves playing with squeaky toys, chewing on anything with strings or ropes, and following us wherever we go! He is doing excellent with crate training; he enjoys napping during the day in it and wakes up only once or twice for potty breaks during the night. He has been great with all the kids who have come to visit. He is a big snuggler and loves being held. We dont know his breed mix but he is guessed to be 10-15 pounds full grown Dachshund mix possibly? He will fall asleep on your shoulder (it makes it really tricky to work!) but puppy snuggles are hard to say no to! He is looking for a home ready to love him as we do! So my name is Betty! I am a beautiful long hair 6 year old Dachshund. My coat is rich redish brown with tan markings. I have big soulful eyes and short little legs. My favorite thing is to snuggle on a lap. I recently arrived in foster care with Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. I have already showed what a sweetheart I am. Betty is not fully housetrained, but she is catching on quick. She is also learning what that leash thing is and how it works. Betty gets along with the other dogs in the foster home and even the cats. My foster mom, Maggie thinks a home with people teenage and up would be best.
