Penny is just beginning to learn what it feels like to be loved and is currently working on potty and crate training. Penny can still be shy and may not be her best self around small children, but she absolutely adores other dogs and thrives on their companionship. Need a professional lap warmer? She’s your girl! She loves being near both people and dogs and is happiest snuggled up in a cozy lap or cuddling with her furry friends. Her foster family says she especially enjoys staying warm and cozy—she’s definitely not a fan of cold and windy days (can you blame her?). Penny would do best in a patient home where she can continue learning to go outside reliably, take walks, and feel confident in a crate. At 8 weeks of age (born mid January) Leonardo is a ball of energy! He loves playing with squeaky toys, chewing on anything with strings or ropes, and following us wherever we go! He is doing excellent with crate training; he enjoys napping during the day in it and wakes up only once or twice for potty breaks during the night. He has been great with all the kids who have come to visit. He is a big snuggler and loves being held. We dont know his breed mix but he is guessed to be 10-15 pounds full grown Dachshund mix possibly? He will fall asleep on your shoulder (it makes it really tricky to work!) but puppy snuggles are hard to say no to! He is looking for a home ready to love him as we do! So my name is Betty! I am a beautiful long hair 6 year old Dachshund. My coat is rich redish brown with tan markings. I have big soulful eyes and short little legs. My favorite thing is to snuggle on a lap. I recently arrived in foster care with Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. I have already showed what a sweetheart I am. Betty is not fully housetrained, but she is catching on quick. She is also learning what that leash thing is and how it works.
