Meet Hugo: The Littlest Legend! Breed: Miniature Dachshund Birthdate: April 13, 2026 Weight: Extra micro-sized! Status: Looking for the perfect lap to claim! About Me If you thought Tamale was small, just wait until you meet me! Im Hugo, and I am the definition of a pocket-sized pup. I started my life with a breeder, but because I didn't sell right away, I was surrendered to the rescue. Their loss is your gain, because I am a certified, tiny bundle of pure joy just waiting for my real life to begin. I might look like a little peanut, but I have a massive personality and so much love to give. Typical Doxie Traits in an Ultra-Pint-Sized Body I have all the classic Dachshund features, just scaled down to the absolute minimum dimensions: The Look: Deep hound eyes, velvety ears that feel like pockets of silk, and an incredibly tiny, low-slung body made for burrowing deep under the covers. The Personality: I am a tiny shadow with a big heart. I love to follow my human everywhere, making the softest little tippy-tap noises on the floor as I keep up with you. The Sensation: I am a world-class lap warmer. Because I am so small, I can fit into almost any cozy nook, especially right next to you on the couch. My Ideal Home Because Ive spent my life so far in a kennel environment, the big wide world can seem a little intimidating at first. I need a patient, gentle family to guide me. Extra Safety Minded: I am exceptionally small. Because of my micro size, I need a home without very young children or large, high-energy dogs so I can stay safe from accidental steps or bumps. Potty Training Patience: Im still a young guy learning the ropes. With a consistent routine and positive reinforcement, Ill get the hang of house training in no time. A Companion Home: I want to make up for lost time in the affection department. A home where someone is around often to give me cuddles and reassurance is exactly what Im wishing for.
