Hi!  My name is Snickerdoodle...I know...I know...it's a bit of a mouthful but it fits because I am such a SWEET guy!  I am a people-loving dog... The more times I hang with a warm human, the better I like it!  Even though I am an attention hound ( see what I did there :)) I do great overnight all on my own and don't need to be crated. I must admit I am also quite fond of chewies and treats and toys,too!  Being a Doxie which means I am always on the prowl for chipmunks and squirrels and promise to keep your yard free of those pests! I am also willing to patrol from the window to keep my eye on the world outside or bask in a sunbeam! I am a guy who would like to be the only furry friend in your home! Meet Patches Patches is a cute, tan and white Chihuahua Mix, estimated to be about 2 years old, weighing 15 lbs. She is very cute, and good with most other dogs but sometimes is selective about her friends; she was confiscated along with several other dogs, ended up in a downstate animal control, and finally found her way to BAARK. Patches is well behaved, affectionate , an overall nice girl. However she has many traits typical of a Chihuahua….can be dog selective, can be bossy with other dogs, and will not back down if another dog challenges her. So, if there is another dog(s) in the household, he or she should be mellow and laid-back. While affectionate, Patches is not fond of cuddling. She’s an independent spirit and prefers to do her own thing. She will surely make a great companion for adults familiar with the breed and able to appreciate the Chihuahua personality. Patches is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm prevention, spayed and microchipped.
