Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Buddy is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter Meet Buddy — 16 pounds of sweetness just waiting for his moment. This 3-year-old doxy/poodle mix may be small in size, but he’s got a heart that’s ready to grow big for the right person. Buddy came to us after being picked up by Animal Control, where he was living alongside a couple of other dogs (who are also looking for homes). While we don’t know everything about his past, it’s clear he’s been through a lot—and he’s still holding onto hope. Buddy can be a little cautious and timid when first meeting new people, but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see his true personality shine. Once he feels safe, he becomes playful, affectionate, and incredibly endearing. He’s the kind of dog who will bond deeply with his person and make you feel like the center of his world. At just 16 pounds, Buddy is the perfect size for cuddling on the couch, joining you for walks, or simply being your quiet little shadow around the house. What Buddy needs most is someone willing to go slow, let him build trust, and show him what love really feels like. In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving companion who will never take a second chance for granted. Buddy has waited long enough. Let’s find him the safe, happy home he deserves. Buddy is up-to-date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. He has been neutered and has a microchip. His adoption fee is $500. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2026, 8:25 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Banjo is a fun boy who is looking for a new home. He is currently with one of our sister rescues down south but hoping to come to NJ soon with an approved foster or adopter. Meet Banjo… your future best friend and full-time entertainer  Banjo is a sweet, energetic little guy who wakes up every day ready to play and soak up all the love he can get. He’s the kind of pup who can happily keep himself busy with his favorite rubber donut or a good Nylabone—but what he really wants is to be right by your side. This handsome boy is doing great with his kennel training and is working hard on his potty skills like a champ. He’s learning the ropes and just needs a family willing to keep cheering him on. Banjo LOVES other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine buddy—his current best friend is a 60 lb lab mix, and they have a blast together. Because he’s still polishing up his doggy manners (and has lots of puppy enthusiasm), he may be a bit much for smaller or older dogs. He’s wonderful with people and enjoys kids too, but his excitement level might be a little overwhelming for very young children. Think of him as your happy, wiggly, always-ready-for-fun sidekick. Banjo is pretty quiet overall, saving his voice for important things—like reminding you it’s mealtime or that he’d really prefer to be part of whatever fun you’re having. This boy would do best in a home where he has space to run, play, and burn off his joyful energy—whether that’s a yard, regular outings, or an active household. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion who will keep you smiling every day, Banjo just might be your guy  Banjo is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $500.  - Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rufus will be in  NJ on 8/15 Meet Rufus, our adorable little doxy mix with a big heart just waiting to feel safe. At around 2 years old and 22 pounds, Rufus is fully grown and perfectly sized for cuddles, couch time, and everyday adventures. Rufus can be a bit unsure when meeting new people. He might bark and back up at first, just trying to figure things out in his own way. But give him a little patience and kindness, and you’ll see his true self shine through. Once he feels safe, Rufus melts into the sweetest love bug who just wants to be close to his people. This playful guy loves his toys and is always up for a good game of tug-of-war. He also enjoys the company of other dogs, which can really help boost his confidence. With a calm, understanding home and maybe a friendly canine buddy, Rufus will thrive. Rufus is looking for someone who will see past his initial shyness and give him the time he needs to trust. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, affection, and a whole lot of love. Could you be the one to help Rufus feel safe and finally home?   Rufus is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm.  He is neutered  and has a microchip. Story
Bentley is a loving, clever dachshund mix who has been my best friend for five years. He’s loyal, goofy, and loves burrowing under the covers, running, and learning tricks. Bentley was rescued from a Texas shelter after being found on the street emaciated and suffering from ringworm. It’s been incredibly rewarding to watch him regain his health and thrive.I want to be honest about his challenges. Bentley has significant anxiety around unfamiliar people and struggles with resource guarding. He has bitten in the past when frightened or overwhelmed. His triggers are limited and identifiable, and his vet believes he is trainable and redirectable. He has made significant progress, and his current medications seem to be helping. He needs someone with the time, patience, and resources to continue his training. I love him deeply, but my work and living situation no longer allow me to give him what he needs. I’m hoping to find him a stable, warm home where he can continue to thrive.

Story
** Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea ** Meet Lylla :) • She rides so well that if you open the car door she gets in by herself, and she doesn't get car sick at all. If you like traveling she would make a really good buddy! • She loves playing with other dogs, running in the park, cuddles, kisses, sleeping with you, walks, hikes, and delicious food (fruit, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cheese, meat) and treats! • Personality: She is affectionate, full of energy, loves to have fun, and adapts well to new things. She likes both people and dogs and cats (she'll play with them). She also loves to play in the park or the mountains. When she's excited, she'll purr to show her excitement.
