Rowan's fate was what we fear for all dogs. His owner died and the family didn't want him. But, Rowan came to us in rescue, and we're sure we'll find him a permanent home, his furever home. Rowan is a 5-year-old Dachshund mix weighing 18 pounds. He's good with other dogs as well as his foster mom's cat! We aren't sure about small children. This sweet, young boy was found running the streets on his own. He had no collar and no microchip and no owner ever came forward to claim him. He is very friendly and very smart and only 13 pounds. We think he is close to a year old. He loves other dogs, cats kids, horses… He never meets a stranger. He will make a great addition to any family and would really love to have another playful fun dog around.
