Story
Meet the Elegant Jenn! Get ready to meet Jenn, a beautiful dog with a story of resilience and a heart full of love. Jenn and her sister, Josie, were found lost and alone in Birmingham, AL. Now, this graceful girl is ready to find a loving, permanent home. At 19 pounds, Jenn is the "big sister" of the pair—confident, elegant, and full of charming personality. Her sleek black coat shines beautifully, and her gentle, soulful eyes are sure to melt your heart. Jenn is a pleasure to be around; she walks beautifully on a leash and adores getting attention from her favorite people. After a good playtime, she is more than happy to curl up for some quiet snuggles. Jenn is great with other dogs and loves people. For households with feline friends, she can be cat-tested to ensure a happy match for everyone. While Jenn has a strong bond with her sister, she is an independent girl who will thrive on her own. Of course, she wouldn’t mind if both she and Josie found wonderful homes where they are equally cherished. If you are looking for a poised, loving, and gentle companion, Jenn is the perfect dog for you. Give this deserving girl the wonderful forever home she has been waiting for. Story
Marvin is a sweetheart. He is social and affectionate and does well in most all situations. Marvin is good iwth dogs and we can cat test. He is so cute and this 4 to 5 year old little guy will steal your heart for sure. Marvin weighs about 28 lbs and loves to go for walks and hang with his people. Breed experience is important, so this little guy gets proper care for his shape/size. Better photos to come for this boy is an adorable a must meet, who will steal your heart for sure. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   January 11, 2026, 1:42 pm

He will make a great addition to any family and would really love to have another playful fun dog around. He is fostered in Tennessee And will travel once his vetting is complete in a couple of weeks. Story
Meet Winnie, a spirited 2-to-3-year-old Dachshund mix who is ready to bring a mountain of personality into her forever home. Winnie is truly a "mountain goat" in a small package. She is incredibly energetic and agile. When she isn’t keeping the small wildlife out of the backyard or patrolling the neighborhood, she is a dreaming of how to get the baked goods off the counter. At night, she burrows deep under the covers to find the warmest spot in your bed. While Winnie is a sweet soul, she is looking for a home where she can be the only dog. She can be reactive with other dogs while playing with toys or if she finds food on the floor. Due to this behavior, she requires a home without young children. Winnie is perfectly fine sharing her space with feline friends. Winnie’s Ideal Home: 🐾Prefered to be the only dog (cats are ok) 🐾Adult home: A quiet home without young children 🐾Active Lifestyle: Someone who loves long walks and high-energy play. Winnie loves food puzzles and dispensing toys. Winnie is a great dog, she just has a couple special needs to thrive in her future home. ☑️ up to date on vaccines ☑️ spayed ☑️ microchipped ☑️ heartworm negative Winnie is being fostered in Madison, AL. We are looking for local adopters only. If you would like to learn more about Winnie, please fill out an adoption application at forrescue.net
