Story
This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Mazie and goodness what a cracker jack she is.  Don’t for minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is gentle or easy.  She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance.  Mazie is 30 pounds and 9 months old.  She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told.  Her pics make her look big but she is a “tiny but mighty” little girl.  Mazie is not a fan of any other female dogs in her life or around her.  We don’t know where that came from but the dislike is there so we say…don’t ignore the warning.  She is great with big male dogs, not good with other small dogs or cats, but loves people deeply and wants to be around them.  She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily.  Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, 90% housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say.  She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE!  We want the right and perfect home and there are lots out there that can give her that.  Tiny but Mighty little Mazie is ready for a home NOW!  Please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue : ccrnewengland@gmail.com  Tell us where you live when you email asking for information and an application. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 19, 2024, 12:10 pm

Story
This adorable girl definitely has a before and after story and Critter Cavalry is so excited to be part of a great future and a change in her life. Her name is Gidget and she's a 2-year-old 34 lb Doodle mix girl that was running as a stray for some time in a very rural County of Tennessee. She was finally caught and trembled as she sat in her kennel run at the small shelter. They knew she would never improve if she stayed in that kennel waiting for someone to find her so a kind groomer with a rescue heart was notified.  This girl was an emergency emotionally and physically and needed to get her cleaned up and shaved down and leave the shelter.   Soon, she was smiling and feeling like a new dog! The before and after pictures are amazing aren't they? She finally has a smile on her face she is working daily to change her  shy spirit and gain her confidence and get her mojo back. She is evolving daily, a little bit at a time. She just needs reassurance, love and some time to gain her footing again and some confidence. She is great with other dogs and loves when people give her attention. She is going to be a victory  story of redemption. Would you like to be a part of that story and write her future in your book of life?  You will certainly make a difference and define your intention to rescue dramatically by adopting this girl  Gidget.  Please contact Critter Cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let us know where you live as you inquire. She's located in Tennessee but is able to transport northward on a weekend transportation.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 19, 2024, 12:10 pm

Story
Meet MooMoo! This adorable little lady came to us from Barnwell, South Carolina, and she’s a delightful mix of Dachshund and Beagle. At almost 11 months old and nearly 30 pounds, MooMoo may be short in stature, but she’s big on personality! MooMoo is a playful and energetic pup who loves to explore. She’s very playful with other dogs and would make the best energetic sibling. She’s already mastered the command "sit" and loves to show off her skills. MooMoo is being fostered with another dog who she adores playing with, and she even met horses while in foster care! MooMoo is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and especially children. She's always polite when meeting other dogs on a leash. Though she can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, she quickly warms up and shows her playful side. This little adventurer enjoys car rides and has had some exciting experiences, including a trip down the shore, where she behaved perfectly. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and loves chew toys, making her an easy pup to keep entertained. Plus, she’s known for her adorable snoring while snuggling, so get ready for the cutest naps ever! With her charming blend of Beagle ears and legs and a long Dachshund body, MooMoo is ready to bring endless joy and smiles to her forever home. Could that be with you? Apply to adopt at www.homeforgooddogs.org! ❤️🐾 MooMoo is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. Meet Maple, the sweeter-than-syrup short stack ready to come home with you! 🥞 Maple is a 3-year-old Dachshund/Hound mix who loves to run and play! Maple was rescued from Barnwell, South Carolina, and at 30 pounds, she’s a fully grown, perfectly medium sized dog. Don’t let Maple’s short legs fool you—this girl can zoom! Maple is an energetic, happy girl and her friendly, outgoing nature makes her so much fun to be around. Maple would do great in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids. She’d love to race them around the yard, join you for days at the park, and soak up as much fun as she can. Story
Get ready for the cutest little girl, the most charming little Dachshund mix named Flynn. This tan cutie is 8 months old and probably won’t get much bigger than her small 15 pounds. Flynn was rescued from Barnwell, South Carolina, and she’s so ready to show you why blondes have more fun! Flynn can be a little shy upon first meeting, but she warms up quickly. The fastest way to win her over is with belly rubs. She adores tummy scratches and being close. She is a very affectionate and loving little girl who is so happy to be cuddled. She’s also a playful girl who quite enjoys romping around with friends and toys. Flynn is just happy to be around others and enjoys the love and happiness she’s embracing after her rescue. Flynn would do great in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids. She fits any family dynamic and is so ready to find her forever home. One thing’s for sure, you’ll consider it a win when you bring home Flynn!
