Story
Meet the "Bridgerton" puppies: 2 boys (Anthony & Benedict) and 3 girls (Daphne, Eloise & Francesca). They were born to Molly who is also available for adoption. Molly looks like a Schnauzer x Wired Haired Dachshund. Dad is thought to be a roaming neighborhood Lab mix. Molly was a good mom to her pups and now it's time for everyone to find a new home. They are friendly and playful and are good with other dogs. We do not know what they think of cats. The puppies are about 9 weeks old. Francesca weighs about 8 pounds. She has a pretty brown and white coloring. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** "Bridgerton" puppy's adoption fee is $550. For puppies that have not been able to be neutered/spayed yet (due to being too young or small) we charge $550 with the condition that when they are fixed $50 is refunded. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.

Story
Monty NJ & Gwen NJ are looking for a home together after spending the last 12 years side by side. Sadly, their owner lost his home and had to make the heartbreaking decision to give them up. We know senior bonded pairs are often overlooked, but we would truly hate to separate these two best friends. Monty is a long-bodied little guy, possibly a Dachshund or Basset mix, and somehow still going strong at a shocking 15 years old! Gwen is a 12-year-old Chihuahua mix with the sweetest face. Both are in good health and have so much love left to give. They are gentle, sweet dogs who are understandably a bit timid adjusting to such a huge life change, but every day they come out of their shells more and more. They love each other deeply and find comfort being together. Monty and Gwen are good with people, dogs, and cats. They are microchipped, fixed, and up to date on vaccines. All they need now is a quiet, loving home where they can stay together for the rest of their golden years June 14, 2026, 8:48 pm

Story
Meet Nelson, a two-year-old, 25 lb Dachshund and Basset Hound mix who traveled all the way from Mountain City, Tennessee, to find his true forever family. Nelson unfortunately found himself in need of a fresh start after his previous owner moved and chose not to bring him along. Despite the setback, this resilient boy is keeping his chin up and looking forward to his next big adventure. He has already earned a hilarious reputation among his rescue friends. He has been affectionately dubbed "No Leg Nelson." But a quick look proves that he does, in fact, have four fully functional legs! They just happen to be wonderfully short, low-to-the-ground, and packed with classic hound charm—making "Wee Little Leg Nelson" a much more accurate title. Short legs aside, Nelson is an absolute catch for any household. He is already housebroken and gets along wonderfully with both kids and other dogs. He has also been cat-tested and, with a slow and patient introduction, he is expected to do just fine sharing his space with a feline sibling. With his soulful eyes, floppy ears, and sweet demeanor, Nelson is the perfect blend of companion and comedian. He is ready to put his past behind him and settle into a stable, loving environment. Nelson is looking for a loyal family who will give him the commitment he deserves and ensure he is a cherished part of every move they make. Nelson is fully vaccinated, neutered and ready to meet you. Apply today at ehrdogs.org.  June 14, 2026, 8:48 pm

Story
** Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea ** Meet Lylla :) • She rides so well that if you open the car door she gets in by herself, and she doesn't get car sick at all. If you like traveling she would make a really good buddy! • She loves playing with other dogs, running in the park, cuddles, kisses, sleeping with you, walks, hikes, and delicious food (fruit, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cheese, meat) and treats! • Personality: She is affectionate, full of energy, loves to have fun, and adapts well to new things. She likes both people and dogs and cats (she'll play with them). She also loves to play in the park or the mountains. When she's excited, she'll purr to show her excitement. She loves to be held - she wants to fall asleep with you in your arms. She's the best dog ever!

Story
DOB 12-7-2024 Wolfie is a gorgeous Red and White Long Hair! This beautiful boy loves everyone, likes to play with toys and his friends. He is neutered, heartworm negative and has received a Proheart6 preventative injection, up to date on shots and is now looking for a loving home. His adoption fee is 900.00 and his transport fee is 135.00. HEARTS is our transport, they run every 2 weeks. It's the best transport and the only one we will use. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. After you submit your application please allow a few days to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We do look for the best home that fits each of our pets, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved we with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the pet you are interested in.Together we can decide if this is the best choice for both.

Story
This purebred chocolate long-haired boy is named Rexx and he would like very much to come to NJ to find a new home. Rex is 3 years old and weighs about 13 pounds. Rexx is very loving but he can be a hog about not sharing with other dogs in the house. He is learning that he can't be King of the Castle all of the time though. He lives with lots of dogs & is good with them - he is also a very smart boy! Rexx does have some separation anxiety so he would not do well in attached housing. If there is not another dog in his new home then he'd do well with someone who is home most of the time. Rexx would do best in an adult-only household but may be fine with young adults over 15 years old who can respect his space. If you think your home would be a good fit for Rexx, please fill out an adoption application and be sure to mention his name, REXX DOXIE!June 14, 2026, 11:12 am
