Story
Bandit is the perfect dog for someone who loves to snuggle but he is not a good fit for homes with small children. If he gets startled or there's new children that move fast towards him, he gets scared and reacts aggressively. That's the only reason we're looking to re-home him, he's reacted that way with my children and while he hasn't hurt them yet, I can't risk it. When he's home with his people though, he's the biggest lover and snuggler. Also in post is Indy, his sister. Both born 5/4/24 She has the same snuggle loves but none of the aggressiveness. She loves belly rubs! She's a little princess. She will come with her own bowl, because she won't eat out of anything else. They have never been separated so they would need to be adopted together. They come with a wooden corner crate that they sleep in. The only reason I said not up to date with shots is that they are just now due for their next shots. Up until now they are up to date. Both are fixed and microchipped.

Story
Meet Maggie Mae – Your Perfect Snuggle Buddy! Maggie Mae is a sweet and gentle soul with a love for cuddles. At around 5-6 years old, this adorable Dachshund mix weighs 31 pounds and is the ideal companion for a low-key, loving home. Maggie is fully potty-trained and crate-trained, and she even knows how to "sit." While she may be shy around new people at first, Maggie warms up quickly and will soon be your loyal and affectionate friend. She does well with other dogs when given slow and proper introductions, and she has been living harmoniously with dogs of all sizes in her foster home. This resilient girl has an inspiring story. Maggie was found abandoned under a church in Cypress, surviving for eight weeks on scraps from nearby restaurants. She was scared and unapproachable but has come such a long way, learning to trust humans again in her loving foster home. Maggie’s dream home would be a quiet one with older children or adults only, where she can relax on the couch and spend her days snuggling with her person. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention. Ready to give Maggie Mae the forever home she deserves? Apply today at BigLoveRescue.org. Let Maggie’s next chapter be her happiest one yet!

Story
Wiffle is a charming 1.5-year-old, 11-pound Dachshund who has already overcome quite a journey. After being pulled from the euthanasia list at another shelter, he made his way to Camo Rescue—and has been a shining little star ever since. Wiffle’s personality is as warm as his long-bodied wiggles. He’s super friendly with everyone he meets and truly never knows a stranger. One of his favorite activities is roaming around outdoors, taking in every scent the world has to offer. He gets along well with other dogs but prefers to march to the beat of his own drum—happy to coexist, even if he’s not particularly playful. This smart little guy is progressing wonderfully with potty training and leash walking and is well on his way to mastering both. He’s also comfortable spending time in a crate and hasn’t shown any signs of separation anxiety. Plus, he’s treat motivated, which makes him an excellent candidate for continued training and learning new skills. He/She is heartworm positive but has already received the ProHeart-12 injection and is currently undergoing treatment. Will need a recheck in nine months to ensure he/she is on the path to full recovery. Adoption fee is: $450.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Story
Pax was born into our household three years ago. He is very loveable, intelligent, and eager to please. He loves to go on walks and to cuddle. He has a very loving personality. He gets along with most dogs. Unfortunately, Pax does not get along with one of my landlord's dogs, and I am not in a position to move. Therefore, finding a loving home for Pax in my only option.
