Benjamin is new to our rescue and is settling in at his foster home. At only 14 pounds he is a small pup......easy to pick up, hold in your lap, and take along for car rides. Go ahead and apply to meet this cute fellow. You will fall in love. He is just adorable. Best guess is he is some kind of Mini Dachshund mix. Benjamin, is about one year old. He is neutered, has his rabies certificate, and is up to date on his vaccines. His foster mom has not heard him bark once yet.....not even one time.....and he has been in rescue for five weeks now. He is a quiet little fellow. Benjamin needs a fully fenced yard, and someone who can be gentle and patient with him. He gets nervous easily. Brownie is looking for forever home. She's been in the same home since she was a puppy. The owner was evicted and is in the hospital. She's currently staying with her aunt who is homeless and living in her car. She's never experienced having to stay in a crate. Her mommy passed away 2 years ago and she hasn't seen her daddy now in 5 days. She needs to go to a loving home that will spoil her like her mommy and daddy did. She is not current on shots it's been 3 years since she had any. As of last night she's now covered in fleas and I have no way to bathe her. PetSmart will let me bathe her there but not until she has a rabies shot. Please help her find a home.

Odie was born 02/07/2022, he’s 4yrs old. He’s a super sweet, loving, and silly boy. It completely breaks my heart to have to rehome him but due to unforeseen circumstances to my health, I am unable to care for him. He’s my only fur-baby, as I do not own other pets nor has Odie lived with other pets. I also do not have any children of my own. Therefore, I do not know how well he’s willing to co-habit with other pets or children. However, Odie is very playful with other dogs and people in social settings (he loves cuddles and attention from strangers). Odie is up to date with his shots and is in healthy condition, he is not neutered. I am not asking for a rehoming fee. What I care about is Odie being rehomed in a place I know he’s going THRIVE and live a LONG quality life.

11 y/o Beebe is a Bassett mix who was surrendered to HBHR when his family moved out of the country. They were afraid that he would not do well with a long quarantine. He was extremely over-weight, and it was amazing that he could get around on his legs! It has taken several months but Beebe has gone from 87 pounds to 50+ ponds and is looking great! He has a spring to his step and can now run with the pack when an alert goes out about a squirrel sighting! He can be a bit grouchy when napping and younger pups step on him in their games but is usually mild mannered and only barks when the pack decides it is time to sing! Beebe is affectionate and is first to come for pets in the morning when you first get up. He wants his pets and has no interest in hearing about your full bladder! This sweet boy is good around people and kids and will do well with or without a canine companion.
