Teddy is vertically challenged and wants to tell everyone about it. She is serious about voicing her opinion and she does it quite often with her impressive vocal cords. She's a real chatterbox and you'll always know what's on her mind. She is gentle but needy. She needs laps and petting. She weighs 33 pounds and likes to lead the way and jump while on a leash. If she runs away while off leash, she'll come back if you call her. She'll need to stop "talking" to hear you though. She knows the sit, stay, come, no, shake and high five commands. She enjoys agility, running, and walks. Around other dogs she is easygoing, playful and dominant. You should consider bringing your dog to meet her. She wants to play with dogs she meets during walks and at the dog park but will bark at them first. She is used to children of all ages and is easygoing, friendly, jumpy, gentle, and sometimes afraid. She is easygoing around cats. She is house trained and used to being taken out every three hours. She spent her days either crated up to three hours or freely roaming the house. She was given up because of the new baby in the house. She got into trouble for jumping, racing out the door, and "talking" too much. Please offer this lovable social butterfly the home and family she needs. Casper loves to be outside and on a leash his motto is "full speed ahead." He still finds time however to keep his nose to the ground and check out all the smells. He is extremely curious and loves to explore. He manages to be very alert as he dashes around and barks to some of the dogs he sees. He might make a great little guard dog. He is jumpy, happy, and friendly once he realizes you mean him no harm. We haven't seen him interact with dogs or children and because of initial timidity and distrust when he arrived at CAP, he'll need to live with kids at least 10 years old for now. He weighs 18 pounds and shouldn't get any bigger. He might know something about house training because he seems to know to do his business outside but please be patient if he needs more training. He came from animal control so we don't know what happened to his family. Lovable Casper knows he is a prize catch if you can convince him to adopt you. (tw 5/10/2024)
