Story
H to the E to the Y- hey! I'm Judy the cutie booty. I'm a girl with the good hair and a personality bursting from my petite frame. I'm low to the ground but don't worry, I can jump super high when I'm excited! I know a few commands, make friends with all the dogs, and love the people who give me attention. I'm treat-motivated and eager to learn more. I do well on leash but I'm not a huge fan of being alone. If you want to come home and be greeted with endless love and enthusiasm, I am just the girl for you!

Story
Meet Maggie Mae – Your Perfect Snuggle Buddy! Maggie Mae is a sweet and gentle soul with a love for cuddles. At around 5-6 years old, this adorable Dachshund mix weighs 31 pounds and is the ideal companion for a low-key, loving home. Maggie is fully potty-trained and crate-trained, and she even knows how to "sit." While she may be shy around new people at first, Maggie warms up quickly and will soon be your loyal and affectionate friend. She does well with other dogs when given slow and proper introductions, and she has been living harmoniously with dogs of all sizes in her foster home. This resilient girl has an inspiring story. Maggie was found abandoned under a church in Cypress, surviving for eight weeks on scraps from nearby restaurants. She was scared and unapproachable but has come such a long way, learning to trust humans again in her loving foster home. Maggie’s dream home would be a quiet one with older children or adults only, where she can relax on the couch and spend her days snuggling with her person. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention. Ready to give Maggie Mae the forever home she deserves? Apply today at BigLoveRescue.org. Let Maggie’s next chapter be her happiest one yet!

Story
If you are looking for a buddy that looks like a Lorax, Bruno is the pup for you. He was originally from a no kill rescue but was adopted then came into CAP as a stray with heartworms and weighs a little over 18 lbs (he needs to be on a little diet). He has been treated for the heartworms and is awaiting for his forever home. He can be a bit of a challenge at first and does not trust a lot of people but once you show him you are no arm he will love you so much he will be right at your side. Bruno loves to `booty bump` on you and at times he can be dominant (maybe like you a little bit too much, if you know what that means). He has been around small-medium size dogs and large cats. He will play very little but will ignore most animals most of the time but when he has his favorite toys he tends to get grumpy when animals are near. Bruno hates being left alone and does best when he is in a closed room with a radio on. He has not had a lot of interactions with kids but the youngest he has been around was 7 years and did amazing with them. He can be a bit protective of his family, space, and home sometimes. He also does not like loud noises and tends to be on alert when he hears most noises. He loves cuddling with you in bed. He is also working on being housebroken and will need to have double belly bands on him most of the time. He does well with with baths and car rides. He will do best in a home where someone will be there majority of the time, he will NOT do well in an apartment due to his anxiety/barking. Please let my foster mom know how I am doing in my new home (info is on my personality profile). He has a goodie bag a few of his favorite toys and treats. Please come by and visit with me, I could be perfect match for you!-1/28/26 KK

Story
Meet Your New Shadow! This petite red Chiweenie may only weigh 5 pounds, but she makes a big impression. Once she chooses her person,  (she does take a little time to warm up) she activates her next-level stalking skills — following you from room to room with total devotion and adoring eyes. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close — curled up in your lap, tucked under your arm, or trotting right at your heels. Don’t expect much alone time; she’s happiest when she’s part of your every move. She’s sweet, loyal, and full of personality — the perfect match for someone who’s ready to be loved all day, every day.  Potty Training Disclosure: Our dogs are not free-roaming in homes. "Potty trained" indicates reliable crate training, not confirmed free-roam house training. Accidents may occur during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected.  ##2574965##
