Story
Jeff is currently 4 months old and is a very happy puppy. He is of a nervous temperament so he does require people to snuggle with and pet him. He enjoys chasing things and playing with people. He's a very sweet little dog but I cannot keep him. If anyone is interested please let me know.

Story
Harmony has a beautiful brindle pattern with some white markings. She was rescued by a kind pet lover in a community west of Houston where the rescuer believes she was abandoned at a construction site and was trying to survive amongst the larger stray dogs in the area. As expected, she was very scared her first few days after rescue but she's gaining lots of confidence in her foster home where her foster mom reports the following: She blended easily with the small and large dogs in the household and totally ignores the 2 housecats. She is quiet and gentle and seems to like both the men and women she has met. She is learning the housetraining from her foster siblings and is picking up "inside", "outside" and "go bathroom". She does very well when left overnight in the crate and for a few hours at a time when foster is not at home. She is very attentive to the humans in the home and is picking up leash training and likes to go on walks. While she loves to snuggle inside on a comfy bed, she also enjoys exploring the backyard with the other dogs. This sweet young dog has had a rough start but now that she's a DREAM dog, we believe she'll find a forever home where she'll never be abandoned again.

Story
This adorable wirehaired came into rescue because he lost his person to cancer. He's about 7 years old and weighs 15 pounds. He gets along fine with both dogs and cats. Kenny likes to play with toys and loves to go for walks. He would be great for someone who is active and enjoys walking.

Story
Alfred Arepa was found by some pet lovers who searched for about a month for his family before contacting DREAM to see if we could help Alfred find a new forever home. His finders recognized he is a wonderful young pup and he got along fabulously with the family, including 3 other dogs, but they couldn't add a 4th dog to their family at this time. His foster parents say "He's the easiest dog we've ever fostered for DREAM". He plays well with the small and large dogs in the home and has been totally housebroken since his arrival. He thinks squeaky toys are the greatest, walks fine with a harness/leash and loves to cuddle with the humans. He's eager to please and his fosters believe he can learn lots of commands and signals. Because he's a young fellow, he would do best with an active family who can provide lots of fun activities for him.

Story
Nico is about 10-12 years old, Nico is a senior, but don’t let that fool you! He absolutely loooves going for walks. He is friendly with other dogs , and he is totally comfortable with cats as his furry siblings were 3 cats. He is also potty trained, doggie door trained ( I don’t have a doggie door but he always had a doggie door when he lived with his parents). He dances “La Cucaracha “ and knows a few commands. Nico also has a super cute underbite. Nico is a shy, grumpy lap dog who is full of love and he will let you know that because he likes giving kisses, maybe because he knows that he will get treats after that :)Nico is up to date on his vaccinations, he is on heartworm preventative, microchipped and he is also neutered! He is overall a healthy pup!Nico’s adopter would have to be someone who either works from home and is active and/ or someone who is retired but is also active; and if he is the only dog (not a deal breaker tho) that would also be awesome! Why active, because he loves going for walks and when he doesn’t go for one he gets very sad. Nico is also an escape artist so you will have to have a very secured fence so he doesn't try to go out and about. Personality traitsFriendly, Affectionate, Gentle, Loyal, Loves kissesAll cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration.
