Story
Fester is a handsome six months old purebred dachshund. He came to us with a fractured tibia, but is expected to make a full recovery. He is currently in his foster home doing remarkably well, recovering from both his tibia surgery, and his neuter. Festers foster mom says he is the perfect happy, little weenie dog and nothing gets him down. He loves people, loves to snuggle, and is up for hanging out and binge watching Netflix or sports. He also does well on a leash and loves his walks even though currently his walks are limited to 10 minute potty breaks, several times a day while he is recovering. Fester enjoys every minute of his outside time. He will be the perfect Café or patio buddy after he has recovered. He's happy just to sit outside and watch the world go by or wait for the neighborhood kids to get off the school bus. He absolutely adores kids of all ages, and is very gentle with them. Being an older puppy, he's past the nibbling stage and is more into covering you with sloppy kisses! Being a smaller breed, he would do equally well in an apartment, townhouse, or home, and be a great traveling companion too. His foster family is working on his potty training and he's doing amazing. He is currently in a small puppy pen to limit his activity while he heals, and he does well in there. He gets along with the fosters dogs and grandchildren too!

Story
Alfred Arepa was found by some pet lovers who searched for about a month for his family before contacting DREAM to see if we could help Alfred find a new forever home. His finders recognized he is a wonderful young pup and he got along fabulously with the family, including 3 other dogs, but they couldn't add a 4th dog to their family at this time. His foster parents say "He's the easiest dog we've ever fostered for DREAM". He plays well with the small and large dogs in the home and has been totally housebroken since his arrival. He thinks squeaky toys are the greatest, walks fine with a harness/leash and loves to cuddle with the humans. He's eager to please and his fosters believe he can learn lots of commands and signals. Because he's a young fellow, he would do best with an active family who can provide lots of fun activities for him.

Story
This teeny tiny smooth red senior lady was found in a Houston area. She wasn't microchipped, and a search for her owners was unsuccessful. Her finder describes her as very sweet, housebroken when taken out routinely, and good with other dogs in the household. Grace qualifies for DREAM's Senior Sanctuary program.
