Though faint marks remain as reminders of his past, Caramelo has long since embraced love and security. Today, he is healthy, trusting, and patiently waiting for the forever home he so deeply deserves. Caramelo is proof that even after hardship, a heart can remain soft. Caramelo is waiting in Mexico for a committed trial family so he can travel north Adoption fee $600 www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2660202##

Story
Dudley is an energetic, dachshund mix who’s ready for a fresh start. Despite a tough beginning—he was unhoused and living in a car—this little guy hasn’t lost his zest for life. Dudley can be unsure of new people and will need time and patience to build trust. Once he feels safe, his loyal and loving nature shines through. He’s also quite vocal, so he may not be the best fit for apartment living. This brave boy has already shown how resilient he is. Now he’s ready for the next chapter—a stable, caring home where he can finally feel secure and loved. Could you be the one to give Dudley the happily ever after he deserves? Our adoption process and application can be found at - https://www.sunnyskysshelter.org/our-adoption-process Note: Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess. Story
Meet August! August and his 7 siblings were found on the side of the road in Eastern Washington, along with their sweet mom Lola. We don’t know what breed mix they are, but they’re all very adorable. Mama Lola weighs about 30 pounds, and looks like a perfect mix between a Dachshund and a German Shepherd. Her pups will likely grow to be medium sized adult dogs. August is such a fun, playful boy. Lola’s pups are currently 6 weeks old and will be ready to leave mom at 8 weeks of age. They are all lovely pups with great temperaments. They will need proper socialization and training to become good canine citizens. We are looking for families who are dedicated to helping their pups develop into healthy and well adjusted dogs. For larger litters our adoption process is as follows: We review applications in the order they are received. We set up meet and greets with the puppies in order. The first applicant will have first pick of the litter, the second applicant will have second pick of the litter etc. We will set a date and time for each applicant to meet the pups. Once the pups are 8 weeks old, they are ready to begin their trial adoptions. Our trial adoption period is two weeks and that gives applicants sufficient time to ensure the pup is indeed a good match. Applications can be submitted via our website savinggreatanimals.org. We respond to all applications within 48 hours. The puppies will have received their first puppy vaccinations, microchips and deworming. They will be spayed and neutered between 8 and 12 months, which is included in the adoption fee. Adoption fee for the pups is $525. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Meet Pot Roast! This little fella found himself in a high kill shelter at risk of euthanasia through no fault of his own. He's just a baby! He arrived with us with his brother Meatball and together they are the cutest, funniest pups. We're not quite sure what their breed mix is. Scruffy fur mixed with soft fur, long ears, lanky legs with a stocky body - it is anyone's guess. They are about 10 lbs now and will likely grown to about 25-35 lbs.  Pot Roast is just a puppy so he is doing all the puppy things - exploring the world with his mouth (put your socks away), playing, sleeping, learning about the world. He has a lovely temperament and is playful and social. He will need continued training and socialization to grow up to be a good canine citizen. At this age he is too young to be alone for long. A home with a yard will be best for him.  Pot Roast has received his first puppy vaccinations, is microchipped and dewormed. He is scheduled to be neutered soon. His adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Welcome Mutz to CCPAL Rescue. Mutz is a 3-year-old Daug (Dachshund /Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He has an adorable underbit and has really blossomed at the Rescue. He is a quieter dog and has learned to like to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
