Story
Frankie & Hoagie are a very sweet, bonded pair who are looking for their best home to live their golden years in! They are easy-going, gentle, smart and food motivated (especially Hoagie). Frankie & Hoagie get along well with other dogs, have not been cat tested and are accepting of older-aged children. Boys like to "talk" and require their home to be a single-family residence with a fully fenced yard. They like a quiet lifestyle with outdoor activities (gentle walks) and can be left at home without any issues. Personalities of both boys will bring you lots of smiles, laughs, cuddles and joy! They love to burrow, snuggle up and learn (they love finding treats in puzzle games). They are working on potty training completely outside (previously lived a sedate life and were not taken outside). Frankie and Hoagie are healthy - Hoagie continues to lose weight as he is extremely food motivated and must stay on a quality fish diet. He does have some seasonal allergies that are easily managed. Frankie needs to gain a few pounds and must remain on a quality fish diet. Both are scheduled to have dentals in the near future. A bonded pair is the best as they keep each other company when left at home and provide double the love! Please open your heart and home to Frankie & Hoagie - complete the application on our website: https://hearts4doxiesrescue.com and we will get back to you within 48 hours. Serious inquiries only. Story
Baboo is a lovely little boy who needs a new home due to his owner's allergies worsening since adopting him from a high kill shelter 8 years ago. Baboo has IVDD which has been treated but does require a knowledgeable and attentive owner willing to listen and learn how to prevent injury and support him as he ages. New adopters MUST be willing to do a slow transition to allow the pet time to warm up to his new humans and MUST be willing to maintain contact via text message or email with previous owners. Baboo has siblings he will be leaving and it's vital his new owners treat him like a valuable member of their family who respect and value his connections with his pet siblings and previous owners. An open adoption is new to some but it just means he can be treated as his own being with his own life and relationships and helps to aid the transition and decrease anxiety while moving to a new home. New owners must provide proof of pet insurance prior to adoption and sign adoption contract.
