We got Miko when he was 8 weeks old and he is now 13. He is still a very happy, lovable dog but needs hernia surgery that I cannot afford and could also gain a better quality of life in a different home. I don’t have as much time or energy for him anymore.He’s an old man that loves his blanket and to roll over on his back for belly rubs, but he’ll cuddle up right under you and take a nap if you let him. Outside of that he is still very playful and loves to jump around and run. He likes to play with the neighbor’s dog at the fence. He is very comfortable in his kennel and even seeks to be in it. Although he likes to play outside for 30 min to an hour or so he still very much likes inside. He’s reluctant to go outside when the weather is bad or there are loud noises like a lawnmower but he will.Aside from humping because he’s not neutered he seems to get along well with other dogs according to his boarders.I have a longer description available.

For Small Dogs under 20 lbs: Once an application is fully approved, we provide volunteer transport to designated meeting spots in Ellensburg, Leavenworth, Wenatchee, Moses Lake, or Brewster for Western and Central Washington families. For Eastern Washington, Montana, or Idaho Families: We host pre arranged adoption meet and greets in Reardan or Spokane Valley. We do not transport dogs sight unseen without an approved application and processed adoption fee. ADOPTION FEES AND MISSION: Our adoption fees are not a purchase price for an individual pet. Blanco is the sweetest 3 year old boy. I've never met a doggo who is a better cuddler and is happy to snuggle and keep eye contact, but also has the spirit and desire to run ten laps around you. Blanco is also a bit mischievous and definitely needs daily time to run and chew in productive ways to keep everyone happy! Also, Blanco is cuteness overload!! The reason we are looking to rehome Blanco is due to our lifestyle not having enough time for his needs. Since adopting him from the shelter we have realized he needs a home who is able to spend a lot more training time with him and who is more active. He is a reactive dog when seeing other dogs or people outside which will need to be worked on. We think this is due to the fact that while with his previous owner he suffered a vicious dog attack and then was kept in one room and barely taken outside again. He is a great dog who we strongly believe can be resocialized, it will just unfortunately take more time than our schedules have.

Six years ago, a sweet dog named Stormy was adopted into what she thought would be her forever family. She gave them her whole heart. Through the years, she filled their home with love, loyalty, and countless happy memories. Stormy never asked for much. She just wanted to be loved, cared for, and included in the family she called her own. But recently, everything changed. Her owners brought home a new dog, and they decided they could no longer keep Stormy. After six years together, Stormy was brought back, hoping that someone would see what a special dog she truly is. Welcome Mutz to CCPAL Rescue. Mutz is a 3-year-old Daug (Dachshund /Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He has an adorable underbit and has really blossomed at the Rescue. He is a quieter dog and has learned to like to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Welcome Arty to CCPAL Rescue. Arty is a 2 year old Dashchund/Parsons Jack Russel is our best guess using AI technology. He weighs 25 pounds. This boy is very sweet. He is calm, good with other dogs, relatively quiet and not too vocal. This description doesn’t fit with the breeds mentioned but this is his behavior. He is good with other dogs and very laid back. He has a coarse coat, and it isn’t too much of a shedding dog. He is sturdy enough to be a good walking companion. He would be fine in a smaller yard like a condo yard and would be ok with a moderately active family. He is a gem and he loves humans, despite his previous experience with them. He is kenneled with another small dog that came from the same place and he does well. He will be neutered soon and looking for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.
