Chuck is very independent, a fenced in yard is a must. He is also very affectionate . He loves treats, and he knows the word. He turned 1 year on Feb. 12. Chuck loves celery.I have Parkinson’s, is the reason for letting chuck go.Chuck also is fast to “eat” anything You may drop: a napkin, water bottle lid, basically anything you may drop. So far we have been able to cope. Surgery to unblock a pups can easily cost $6000.00. Or more. He May drop the thing if you can de get his attention with a treat he may drop the cap and go for the treat. He will want it back.Basically you need to keep your floor clean of ANYTHING.

Story
Dudley is an energetic, dachshund mix who’s ready for a fresh start. Despite a tough beginning—he was unhoused and living in a car—this little guy hasn’t lost his zest for life. Dudley can be unsure of new people and will need time and patience to build trust. Once he feels safe, his loyal and loving nature shines through. He’s also quite vocal, so he may not be the best fit for apartment living. This brave boy has already shown how resilient he is. Now he’s ready for the next chapter—a stable, caring home where he can finally feel secure and loved. Could you be the one to give Dudley the happily ever after he deserves? Apply today! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SSAR/Dog Note: Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. Story
Meet Stevie – Your New Little Shadow 💕 Stevie is a 3-year-old Chiweenie with a heart as big as her adorable ears! This 12-pound sweetheart was found as a stray, but despite her rough start, she proved to be the most devoted mama. Stevie lovingly raised six healthy puppies and took amazing care of each one. Now that her babies are growing up, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled. Stevie is the definition of a lap dog. Her favorite place in the world is curled up next to her person, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. She has the sweetest, gentle personality and will happily follow you around the house just to be near you. She gets along well with other dogs and would do great in a home with canine friends or as your one-and-only cuddle companion. At about 12 pounds, she’s the perfect little size for couch snuggles, movie nights, and tagging along on daily adventures. Stevie is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, spay and heartworm test. Story
Welcome Mutz to CCPAL Rescue. Mutz is a 3-year-old Daug (Dachshund /Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He has an adorable underbit and has really blossomed at the Rescue. He is a quieter dog and has learned to like to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
