Story
If you want to consider adopting one of the most unusually colored Dobermans ever, then please consider our handsome blonde boy called Moose who  is a 3 ½ year old Dobi and who weighs 75 pounds. He loves to be with his person and sits patiently waiting for you to love him. He lives with a Shepskie, Sheltie and two toy Yorkies. He's great with the  3 YO grandson  and this boy is totally trained in a crate, housebroken, knows commands and walks like a Westminster show dog on a leash most of the time.   There are times he still pulls a little on the leash and could use more work.  He's a fast eater and needs work taking snacks from your hand.  Overall, Moose is such a loving guy with a great personality. His only downfall is he CAN NOT BE AROUND CATS. He will kill a cat and has killed a chicken.   The prey drive for those creatures is high.  Moose mostly  needs someone that can spend good quality time with him and give him the love he deserves. Is you are interested in this blonde Doberman guy who is ready to be a sponge in training and learning then please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let’s do this!!! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 3, 2023, 9:33 pm

Story
MEET SAM!!   This silly and happy-go-lucky 14 month old puppy was brought in by animal control for being tied outside with no shelter or food/water. His past has not affected him one bit, and he absolutely loves people and other dogs.   His records say he is a doberman mix, but we don't believe it. Because of his delicious OVERbite, we think he may be part shark! At 43 lbs, he'd fit in any pool or tub, but this land shark hates baths and getting wet in general.    Sam knows 'sit,' 'down,' 'wait,' 'leave it,' and is learning not to pull on a leash. He doesn't want to miss a single smell or opportunity to sniff, so we are teaching him that if he walks nicely, the smell will still be there. It's so hard to be patient when the fresh grass and flowers smell so good!   Sam is house broken and crate trained. He has had a couple of accidents in his crate, but that was due to human error.   Sam's overbite is really something else, and it just makes him so Sam! He does sometimes nibble fingers when taking treats, but he can't help it, so we give him treats on the side of his mouth instead of the front, so fingers are spared.    Sam absolutely loves other dogs and plays well and hard with both male and female dogs his size or smaller. We recommend he go to a home with another dog and with children 12 and up. He will jump up on his person when he comes out of his crate, and we are working on that, but we would hate for Sam to accidentally knock a small child to the ground. Sam's adoption donation fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip.  You can apply for Sam by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.net or www.tarashouse.org.  Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.November 27, 2023, 2:54 pm

Story
Maybe I was named after MARVEL's Nick Fury. Or maybe I was named after the Brad Pitt war movie But one this is for sure - I am NOT fur-y-ous!!! I am a really SWEET boy who loves children and adults, in fact I was the KID'S best friend when I was in my foster home. I was part of their birthday celebrations and was just in HEAVEN with all the kids :) I am looking for a home with older kids because I am a little protective of my toys and snacks- so older kids who understand my boundaries are the best ;) I mean, my chickem nuggets are mine...even though they came from your hand! :) Maybe I am like Nick Fury because I can be a touch overwhelming to older and more timid dogs. I like dogs who are on the same level with me - you get it? ;) While I am not really big, less than 50 lbs, I am essentially 100 pounds of busy and need to be active. No apartment living for me, please! I like space and action and activity and being mentally stimulated - maybe I am a lot like Nick Fury ... hmmm, but nothing that a bunch of adventures wouldn't cure!!! Give me an active family or couple, and I am IN! And by active I mean, running and biking and camping and THROWING the ball for me- over and over please! I LOVE THE BALL! I am healthy and happy boy, and I am racing around waiting for you to race WITH me!!! Come on and adopt me and lets git to gitting!!! Adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/GDR/Dog Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Estimated DOB: 11/24/2018 Weight: 55-65 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes Cats: No Dogs: Selective Kids: YES!! *All of our dogs at TVR are microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and are spayed/neutered as long as they are of age and/or medically cleared for the procedure* Piper is a real people pup!! She does great with kids. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy, she's your girl. Piper is super sweet and can turn anyone into a dog person in a second. She's affectionate and gives the most gentle hugs and kisses and wants to include you in everything she does. Her toys are your toys! She has no problem sharing. She has a good amount of energy and such a great, outgoing personality. Piper likes zoomies and toy time followed by a good nap. She's game for whatever! As long as she gets to be with you, she's happy. Piper has a rough play style with other dogs which many dogs don't appreciate. She doesn't show very good manners when meeting a dog for the first time but with proper introductions to get another dog used to her, they could end up being great friends. Piper has so much love to give and she will make a person or family so happy! If you think you might be a good match for Piper, head over to our website to fill out an Adoption Application at https://theirvoicerescue.org/adopt/ Piper could really benefit from a foster home. If you would like to know more about fostering with TVR, please give us a call or go to our website to fill out a Foster Application at https://theirvoicerescue.org/foster-application/ For more information about Piper or any of our other dogs, please give us a call at 540-497-3562.
