Story
ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: They say some dogs choose their people and with Anabelle that is definitely the case. If you're lucky enough (and patient enough) you will soon have a friend for life. This girl loves her people with all her heart and we wouldn't want her any other way. Anabelle is originally from Puerto Rico. Her owners left the island and didn't take Anabelle with them. Anabelle is a very sweet girl who takes time to warm up to people, but once she gets to know you she is very cuddly and loves to be by your side. She would like someone who will take it slow and let her warm up at her pace. Anabelle would be a loyal companion for the right home. She enjoys walks and is well behaved on a leash and even likes to check in with you to make sure she is doing a good job. She LOVES to give kisses and would love a home where she can soak up all the love. Anabelle has been at the Farm for over a year now and she wants a place to call her own. She loves to run around the fields and get all her zoomies out. When she's in a quiet environment, she settles quickly and can be very affectionate. KNOWN WITH DOGS: Anabelle does well with dogs but needs a slow introduction. She can be dog selective but does well with a proper introduction. Anabelle plays best with dogs that know how to take breaks so she doesn't gets over stimulated. KNOWN WITH CATS: Anabelle is cat friendly, and has done well meeting cats. KNOWN WITH KIDS: A home without children is recommended. KNOWN CUES: Anabelle knows Sit, down, look, stay, come, and shake and she is working on Place, spin, and Leave It KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Anabelle is house and crate trained. KNOWN LIKES: Playtime with dogs, cuddles, and affection KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud kennel environment, dogs that don't have manners ___________________________________ Anabelle is being virtually fostered by Union Veterinary Clinic. Story
Honey is a sweet two year old Doberman/husky mix. Sadly, her mommy has a terminal illness and has reached out to us to find Honey the perfect forever home. Honey is spayed, up-to-date on all required vaccines, HW negative and micro chipped. Honey is sweet and affectionate but a little awkward. She just needs a little bit of training to become that perfect dog. Training her mom just hasn’t been up to lately. Honey has one beautiful blue eye and the most adorable ears I’ve ever seen. She weighs about 55 pounds. She would do well with older children that wouldn't be knocked over as well as a good natured doggy sibling. If you would like to give this cutie pie a place in your family while putting her current mom at ease, please email dogs4mylife@gmail.com or omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our information and application. Story
Dakota is a very affectionate, gentle, 97 pound, 7-8 year old female black/tan Doberman with a calm and friendly personality. She is a bit overweight and on a journey to a healthier leaner body. Dakota is a special needs dog; she had a cancerous mass which was removed. There are currently no signs of cancer but she should be monitored to see if it returns. Dakota greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and gentle kisses. Dakota is calm and well-mannered. She is content to take naps and relax. If she is left alone she does whine and pace. She is not destructive but will chew a blanket. She sleeps through the night on her dog bed. Dakota will do best in a new home where someone is home with her. She does well when riding in the car. Dakota spent some with another female Doberman and got along well with her. She would be a good companion for an older or more relaxed playmate rather than rough-housing with a young puppy. Dakota is fostered in Maryland. Check-out Dakota playing with her toys in the yard: https://youtu.be/bYGAmQzhZSU?si=r8BSrRhj9LrI1aHu DAR&E adopts to MD, VA, DC, DE, eastern parts of WV and southern parts of PA. Story
We are moving overseas for a temporary job and looking to rehome our beloved pup Archie until we return in January 2026. We adopted Archie in 2014 and he's now the most puppy-faced 10-year-old boy you've ever seen (seriously, we still get stopped on the street constantly asking if he's a puppy!). He has been a loyal companion, witnessing our family grow as we married and welcomed two human babies, now ages 6 and 2. Archie is a top-notch snuggler, full of energy on walks, and incredibly patient with little ones. Until very recently he would run his little heart out at the dog park, consistently faster than dogs half his age. Having spent the first year of his life in shelters, however, he does come with some baggage and still experiences separation anxiety. Archie would do best in a home with at least one person home the majority of the time and/or with another dog to keep him company. He is house-trained, but resists the crate. Please consider taking in our special guy!

Story
We are a family of 5 (3 kids under 10) and we got him as a family pet last August (2024) he was 2 months old at the time. From an AKC accredited Doberman breeder in Sping Grove, PA (FoxFamilyPups) for $3,000. He is now about 11 months old. He has been professionally trained by Haywood Dog Academy since December 2024 for obedience and loose leash walking. Named after my wife’s hometown, Chicago is a goofy, fun, and sweet dog that loves rolling over for belly rubs, eating treats, playing A LOT, and spending time with his family. He has a lot of energy and is happiest when he is by our side. He is also crate trained. We’ve discovered that we just aren’t a good fit for him at this stage in our lives. We are seeking a home for Chicago where his new owner is physically active and has plenty time to dedicate to him, preferably someone without kids. He’s a big puppy and will need continuous exercise and consistent training from anyone who is interested.
