Kiara has gone from a fearful girl to a confident, curious, incredibly sweet dog who truly wants to connect with people. Once she warms up, she becomes affectionate, loving, and so eager to be part of your world. She has a gentle soul, a working-breed brain, and a heart that melts the moment she trusts you. She is still building her dog-to-dog social skills, so slow introductions are best. She’s dog selective, but she may do well with a calm, neutral, dog-savvy companion who won’t overwhelm her. She would also be perfectly happy as the only dog, soaking up all your attention. Kiara LOVES kids, but because she can be a little shy and startles easily, we recommend a home with children 10 and older simply to ensure a calm, predictable environment as she continues growing in confidence. This adorable little girl and her siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Blair is a gentle little girl, but does love to run and play with other dogs. She has done amazing with her house and crate training. She is so deserving of a wonderful home to call her own. She is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC.
