Story
Richie is a wonderful dog, he's about 3 years old. We adopted him from our local animal shelter and although he was scared and unsure of his new home at first, he eventually warmed up to us. He's sweet, listens and minds us, has a nice even temperament and takes treats gently. He knows sit and stay and seems willing and capable of learning more. He loves to play with his toys, the ball and he loves playing with water like a wading pool or the hose water. He also likes to play with other dogs and is good with small dogs too. I don't know how he is with kids but I think he would be good with them. He doesn't bark too much but will bark when necessary. Unfortunately he's not good with cats, which is the only reason we can't keep him. If it wasn't for that, he'd be perfect for us because he really is a great dog. We hope he finds the best person/family and we are going to donate his adoption fee to Douglas Animal Shelter, a no kill shelter where we adopted him from.
