Story
We adopted Simon from our local shelter in January. He had been there for almost a year. They rescued him because he had been tied up to a cart return at our local grocery store. He was skinny and afraid of humans, but the Shelter had rehabilitated him. SNUGGLE bunny, who just wants to do life alongside his humans. He likes to hunt though. Any small animal that makes it through my fence is a goner in a matter of seconds. He barks and growls at my cat, and she’s been in the back room for seven months. So he needs a cat free home. I wish I could keep him. He still barks and pulls on the leash, but not near as much as when we first got him. He’s intelligent and loves to play games. But he’s also content with a daily walk. The rest of the time he’s sort of a couch potato. He does well on his own when we leave the house. I have two boys and he’s good with them, but I recommend a house without small children. When they are loud or rowdy, he gets really nervous.

Story
My dad found Miso behind our church on a cold rainy day in Nov. 2018. She was ~8 y.o., untrained, w/ strange fears: empty water bottles, aluminum foil. Her nails were long & she was hairless & skinny. It's been our theory that she was abandoned. I spent a month looking for her owners, but no one turned up. At this time I was prepping to go away to college & live in a dorm that didn't allow pets, so my dad was her caretaker until 2021 when I graduated. My dad did his best, but he had his own ailments & was busy with work so he couldn't take care of Miso all the way. I married a soldier that same year, & we have since brought Miso with us through multiple military moves. My husband & I have loved on her. I was so happy when her fur started growing again & she gained weight. But as time has gone on, she developed medical issues that we aren't able to afford. I recently became a mom, & we're about to move again. It sucks, but I have to admit I can't give Miso the life she deserves anymore.

Andy is approximately 7 years old and weighs about 63 pounds Andy is wonderful. He is very beautiful he is kind. He gets along with other dogs. Andy would love a home that would take him running, hiking or even walking around the block. He is not a high energy boy and may do well in an apartment or town house without much room to roam. Andy is happy to watch Animal Planet while his family is at work or school. Andy's favorite activity is snuggling on the sofa cuddling with his people. Andy has been rewarded with 'privileges' in his foster mom's home. He gets to go to the front, which is not fenced, and he stays right with her. He is also well mannered around the horses and donkey. Sweet senior looking for forever home!Julep is located in a foster home in southeast Arizona, between Benson and Willcox. She is approximately 2 1/2 hours from Tempe or one hour east of Tucson. 'Julep is a senior female dog with a lot of love to give. She is an intelligent, quiet, and independent dog with a dignified and gentle demeanor. Julep weighs only 48 pounds, and she is 11 years old. Tis sweet girl was in the county shelter and the wonderful employees contacted Fedwell Farm since we do a lot of seniors. We are so happy she is here, she seems so happy to be in a home and loves to roll on the grass! Julep is affectionate and loves to be around people. She could be an apartment dog, watching Animal Planet while her family is at work or school. She enjoys lounging on the couch and rolling in the grass. . She is very curious and likes to sniff around new places and people. She is also loyal to her loved ones and will always be by your side. Julep is brave, she walked into her foster home like she owned the place within a few minutes of her arrival. She walked right through the 10 other dogs in her foster family. She also knew how to use the dog door. She is looking for a calm and peaceful home to retire in where she will be showered with love and affection. If you're interested in adopting Julep, please come to her foster home to meet her.' 602-316-8919August 3, 2025, 3:10 pm
