Story
My dad found Miso behind our church on a cold rainy day in Nov. 2018. She was ~8 y.o., untrained, w/ strange fears: empty water bottles, aluminum foil. Her nails were long & she was hairless & skinny. It's been our theory that she was abandoned. I spent a month looking for her owners, but no one turned up. At this time I was prepping to go away to college & live in a dorm that didn't allow pets, so my dad was her caretaker until 2021 when I graduated. My dad did his best, but he had his own ailments & was busy with work so he couldn't take care of Miso all the way. I married a soldier that same year, & we have since brought Miso with us through multiple military moves. My husband & I have loved on her. I was so happy when her fur started growing again & she gained weight. But as time has gone on, she developed medical issues that we aren't able to afford. I recently became a mom, & we're about to move again. It sucks, but I have to admit I can't give Miso the life she deserves anymore.

Story
We adopted Simon from our local shelter in January. He had been there for almost a year. They rescued him because he had been tied up to a cart return at our local grocery store. He was skinny and afraid of humans, but the Shelter had rehabilitated him. SNUGGLE bunny, who just wants to do life alongside his humans. He likes to hunt though. Any small animal that makes it through my fence is a goner in a matter of seconds. He barks and growls at my cat, and she’s been in the back room for seven months. So he needs a cat free home. I wish I could keep him. He still barks and pulls on the leash, but not near as much as when we first got him. He’s intelligent and loves to play games. But he’s also content with a daily walk. The rest of the time he’s sort of a couch potato. He does well on his own when we leave the house. I have two boys and he’s good with them, but I recommend a house without small children. When they are loud or rowdy, he gets really nervous.

Story
URGENT FOSTER NEEDED Meet Cecil, a courageous and resilient Cane Corso male found as a stray in South Texas. Initially thought to have been hit by a car, Cecil is battling severe malnourishment, demodex mange, and is heartworm positive. Despite his heartbreaking condition, shelter staff have been amazed by his gentle nature and the affection he shows towards them. Cecil's journey has been a tough one, but his spirit shines through in his willingness to connect with those caring for him. He is in desperate need of immediate foster care to provide him with the love, nourishment, and comprehensive medical attention he requires to heal and thrive once again. If you have space in your heart and home to welcome Cecil and help him on his road to recovery, please reach out to the shelter or rescue organization caring for him. Your compassion and support can make a world of difference in Cecil's life and give him the second chance he so deserves. Let's come together to show Cecil that kindness and love can conquer even the toughest of challenges. Share his story, spread the word, and let's find Cecil the loving foster home he needs to start his new chapter. #FosterNeeded #RescueDog #SecondChance #CecilsJourney #SouthTexas ##2086835##

Story
Mason was rescued along with 11 other beagle boys from an animal testing facility in the United States. Until now, he's known only a cage and the inside of a laboratory as his whole world. Mason is still shy but is making very good progress, gaining confidence every day. He is being fostered alongside Rockford, another beagle from the same rescue, and another laboratory survivor, adopted from us last year by his foster mom. Mason's foster mom tells us he is a very sweet, shy little guy. He gets along great with the other dogs and loves to play. Once he gets to know you, Mason is very affectionate. We think Mason is going to be a wonderful companion for the right human! He's waiting for his forever person to find him and give him the home and life he's always deserved.
