She first came to the shelter when she was about a year old and was later adopted, but sadly returned through no fault of her own when her owner moved into a nursing home. Ellie Mae has now been back at the shelter for about six months.She loves pets, belly rubs, toys, and running around the play yard. She's a silly girl who even likes carrying her food bowl around! Ellie Mae can be a little particular about her dog friends because of her strong herding instincts, so she may do best as the only pet in the home. She isn't especially interested in walks, but she does enjoy getting out in the yard and staying active.Ellie Mae is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for the loving, stable home she's been waiting for.
