Story
Meet Dakota — Ready to Steal Your Heart &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   Say hello to Dakota, a lovable lab mix puppy with a playful spirit and a heart full of gold. This little girl is part of a litter full of sweethearts, but she’s got a special spark that makes her stand out. With her wagging tail and bright eyes, Dakota is always ready for her next adventure — or her next cuddle session.   Dakota is the perfect mix of fun and affection. She’s great with other dogs, gentle with kids, and loves nothing more than being part of the action — whether it’s a game of fetch, a romp in the yard, or just following you around the house like your fuzzy little shadow.   She’s picking up on all the puppy basics and thrives with positive reinforcement and praise. Dakota is smart, curious, and totally in love with life — all she’s missing is her forever family.   Dakota’s must-haves: Lots of toys and room to play A family (or furry friends!) to grow up with Time for snuggles and love Patience, training, and treats (she’s learning fast!)   Looking for a best friend who’ll stick by your side through thick and thin? Dakota is ready to be your new favorite adventure buddy — come meet her and see just how special she is! update 7/29: Quick update on Dakota; she’s doing great! Super energetic (I think the most energetic one I’ve had so far ), loves treats, toys, and being around people. I think she’d be awesome with kids or someone who is active.   She’s crate trained and sleeps through the night no problem. I’ve been practicing leaving her in the crate during the day for a couple hours, and she’s been doing well—she’ll even go in when I tell her to.   She’s also the biggest cuddler. She’ll grab a toy and lay right next to me just so we’re touching.August 4, 2025, 11:56 am

Story
Keanu is a happy-go-lucky little dude! This sweet senior loves to play with his toys! Keanu also loves to go for walks in the neighborhood and even enjoys car rides! He follows his foster family everywhere they go. Keanu is housebroken as well. He gets along great with smaller dogs and pays no attention to the big ones when he meets them. Keanu does have a chronic condition called Spondylosis in his spine. He is on medication for this and will be for life. This doesn’t seem to slow him down but it is why we recommend a home with older children and small dogs so as to not risk injury. Keanu does great on his meds and doesn’t seem to be in pain. If you’re looking for a funny little guy to hang out with and be your best friend look no further!    October 26, 2024, 4:37 pm

Story
located in hacienda heights:  Meet Amelia, a sweet and gentle 1.5-year-old who is looking for a loving home where she can continue to grow and thrive. Amelia is a quiet soul who enjoys the calm of her home, but she becomes a bundle of excitement when it's time for a walk! She’s fantastic on a leash and is already well-trained to potty outside.   While Amelia can be a bit shy and cautious around people at first, once she builds trust, she’ll melt your heart with her affection. She may prefer to stay in her crate initially, but with a little patience, she’ll come to you when she’s ready. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs time to feel safe, Amelia could be the perfect addition to your family. Are you the patient and understanding person she’s been waiting for?  March 13, 2025, 5:50 pm
