Story
Bishop the low-rider Male 4 years Basset mix We came across Bishop when he was relinquished to the Calexico Animal Control facility in Calexico, California. His owner was forced to give him up because they were both getting evicted. We’ve come to realize that Bishop likes kids, dogs that are his size or smaller, and he is not a fan of cats. Big dogs tend to intimidate him so we think placing him in an environment with dogs his size or smaller would be ideal. Bishop is very playful and sweet, and enjoys sleeping on a cozy, soft bed and playing with other dogs and toys. Bishop has a funky leg that he was born with, and it does not seem to slow him down or bother him one bit. If you’re looking for a Lowrider that has spunk and energy then please consider adopting Bishop.

Story
This beautiful boy was dumped off on somebody after his parents left town and they never looked back to see how he was surviving. Thankfully a beautiful soul took him in and gave him the love and affection he always wanted. Sadly, this person is very old and her health is not the best. However, she is doing all that she can in order for him to get the love and affection that he deserves. Rocky LOVES other dogs and he loves to play. Rocky is a loyal boy who will be with you thru thick and thin. He is not a fan of cats but does tolerate them under supervision. Rocky likes older kids but small kids scare him. Rocky is the goodest boy and deserves the best family.

Ofelia aka Ofi! This is our golden girl who we believe is about 7-8 years old and is just pure joy! We rescued Ofi a few weeks ago and now she’s living with her foster family in Calexico, CA. We need a super chill family for Ofi so she can run the house and come to you when she wants food or pets😆 Ofi found her voice when she didn’t like the feeling of her belly making hungry noises. Her foster says she’s an amazing girl who just wants to sleep, snack, and walk around the yard all day. Ofi likes people and dogs, and we think she’s good with cats too cuz she just sees them and thinks 🤷🏻‍♀️ Message us adopt this sweet thang!

Story
This beauty is Victoria, and yes she is a tripod. She was rescued off the street after she was hit by a car in Mexico and left for dead. A good Samaritan saw the whole thing happen and decided to take action. This person took the dog home and reached out to us for help. Victoria was taken to the vet and it was determined she had to have her front paw amputated. This accident did not stop Victoria from thriving and seeing the beauty in life and people. Victoria gave people another chance and decided she needed to get better in order start her search for her own forever home. Victoria is currently with a foster in Mexico but is counting the days she can come to US and start her new life.
