Story
Delphine is a pure-bred Australian Shepherd that we adopted as a puppy. Delphine is 5 years old and is a very loving and affectionate dog. She has a lot of energy as an Australian Shepherd and loves to run and play with her sister Ophelia. She tends to just grab a toy and keep it with her at all times, and when she does run out of energy immediately flops to become a couch potato. Delphine loves people and would let you scratch and rub her belly until your hand falls off. She is highly trainable and has been kennel trained and trained on basic commands. She knows how to sit and respond to the no command. Her new home would need to have a yard for her to run and play in, and owners that have the time to pay attention to her. Delphine is great with adults and children and is very gentle with our senior dog and pet cat.

Story
Roux was originally a foster puppy with distemper who wasn’t likely to survive 2 weeks. Despite everything she lived and was a bundle of energy and love! She is very active, loves all animals and people. She tends to jump when excited but does know basic commands. She also loves to snuggle and be pet all the time! She has grown up with other dogs in the house and loves to have a playmate. She will be 2 years old in May. I’m having issues with landlord and am looking for a better environment for her. Would prefer someone experienced with dogs and possibly has other animals she can play with. Also looking for someone who preferably has a backyard as she is high energy and loves to run. I have leashes, toys, a brand new long kennel, and a full bin of food for her and her new home.

Story
I found Pierre off of a highway on the way home from work one night. He was about 5 weeks old with huge floppy ears. He has grown into his ears and has a very mild temperament now going 6 years old. He's a good dog, but he is not relaxed around my toddler and can show aggression to some (not all) other dogs. He lives inside but spends hours outdoors. He is best suited in a rural area where there is room to run and explore. I'm sad to see him go, but I don't want to be worried about him around our child any more.

Story
Jewel is a loving and active pet. She is great with my two year old and the other kids in our subdivision, as well as our other dog who happens to be a pit bull. She is not fully trained but half way there. Jewel loves to cuddle and doesn’t shed much at all. She Jewel will be 2 years old at the end of the year. She loves Turkey dog snacks and belly rubs. My favorite look on her is the teddy bear look, she looks so sophisticated lol. She’s a beauty.

Story
Freya was found in an oil field. She is microchipped. Contacted the owner, they declined to retrieve her, so we took her in as a foster. Don't let the stray factor fool you, she is a lover! Freya is friendly, playful, loving. She needs a person or family that can spend a fair amount of time with her as she is a Velcro dog. Kennel, leash, potty & dog door trained. Prefers to sleep in her kennel. Knows most of her commands. She does have a strong prey drive - cats & other small animals are all made for chasing. Requires a tall fence (6 ft or higher) - she can easily jump a standard chain link fence. She absolutely adores people, wants to meet everyone. We have not seen her around children. LOVES attention / pets / cuddles / treats / walks. She's good with male dogs, but not all females. We will spay her before she goes to her new home. Adoption fee is to recoup some of our out of pocket expenses (shots, spay).
