Story
Name: Homie Age: 1 year Weight: 80 lbs. Disposition: Gentle, loving, curious, Happy. Alternately playful and chill. Neutered, undergoing treatment for heartworms. Homie was found loose in a neighborhood by the Highway on May 14th, 2024, no collar and not microchipped. All attempts to locate a previous owner have been exhausted. I am truly not equipped to accommodate a dog his size, so though he is absolutely wonderful, I need to find him a loving home. I am looking for an adopter who really wants a dog like him for a companion. I'm looking for someone with enough time, space, resources and love to be able to take care of a big, sweet, young dog. He is very friendly and intelligent. He's not trained, but is definitely teachable: He's learned basic commands and can walk on a leash. He loves to go for walks and be outside, but he needs to be able to spend time inside too, such as to have family time and sleep inside at night. Home with good fenced yard is ideal.

Story
Willow is such a special dog, and I’m not just saying that because I had the pleasure of being able to keep her. Willow is by far the sweetest dog I have ever met! She’s the kind of dog that has everyone wanting to pet her, she gets along well with other dogs small or big and is always willing to play! she isn’t one to judge, and loves everyone! Willow is potty trained and has no trouble with walking on a leash or finishing a meal! She isn’t one to deny a treat! Being that she is still a puppy there are things that still need a little work, she understands basic commands such as sit, kennel, lay, wait, and gentle! Learning how to not jump up on people is something that has been a challenge trying to teach her.Willow is a dog that deserves more than a shelter and more than an apartment she’s growing and needs more space I hate to give her up but her happiness means more to me than anything! I hope that I can find her a family that’s going to truly love her the way that I Do!

Story
Found abandoned @ an old gas station with only a collar on a busy road. Either a kind soul or person who left him there did provide food & water. The food was infested with ants & the water was yucky. After a vet visit, slight flea allergy on back which we are treating. Has worms which is being treated & is heart worm positive yet no coughing so perhaps early so can be treated. Named him Buddy & besides having to adjust to a loving home with some nervousness to loud sounds, he is loving, docile, really adapts well to all surroundings. He is about 15 lbs underweight per vet so working slowly to adjust him back to having food. Want to find him a forever home as he is such a beautiful dog inside & woking on his outward beauty to heal from malnourishment & neglect. Working on leash skills & has begun to wag his tail & is responding well to all Rx so help Buddy & let’s find him some humans who will love & care for him. We are located in Lafayette, LA & willing to travel.

Story
Princess is goofy and so loving. She knows how to sit, shake, spin, and lay down. She is potty trained. She will be 8 in August. She is stubborn but very food motivated. She does not get along with other animals at all and sometimes gets anxious. We had a baby and we tried to make it work but I just don’t think I can give her the kind of life she deserves. She has definitely chilled out with age but still gets energetic in public/around new people. I know that if I bring her to the pound they will euthanize her and I absolutely can not let that happen. She deserves a loving home like she used to have.
