Story
Chicot's story began on July 4, 2023, when we found him alone and hungry on the trails of Chicot State Park. Covered in fleas and ticks, he had clearly been through a lot. Rangers said he was part of a litter abandoned in the park; and he had wandered off and gotten lost. That’s when we stepped in to help. We brought Chicot home, gave him a much-needed bath, and got him fully vetted. While our original intention was to find him a forever home, we weren’t sure how to go about it beyond reaching out to friends and family. Unfortunately, our space isn't ideal for a large dog, and our small dog has never warmed up to him. Chicot is a strong, loyal dog who would thrive in a home with: -Can have other dogs but will need an introduction period -A large yard or outdoor space -An experienced dog owner He’s housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic commands like “sit”. He is eager to please! Chicot would make a wonderful guard dog and a devoted companion in the right environment.

Story
Ghost was brought into our family at only 7 weeks old. It took us a week to realize he was deaf. He occasionally has an issue with getting along with our mini dachshund which is the reason I want to adopt him out. She is old and sometimes he is too aggressive for her. Ghost does well with kids but is also weary of strangers. He is very nervous and has very high energy. He is 2-1/2 years old. Great companion but he is very selective on who he gets attached to. He is house broken and kennel trained since I work a lot and we are away from home often.

Eivo(eye-vo), also answers to to Vo, is a very calm boy! He loves to sleep and is very spoiled. He follows your energy. He is an INSIDE boy! He is also very protective of women and children. He has been around cats for several years and is very good with children of all ages. He is skeptical of men at first. We have been working with most basic commands, he knows high five, sit, lay down, go to corner, and working on recalling. He is being rehomed due to absolutely no fault of his own.
