Story
Caesar is one of our longest residents and has been homeless now for several years :( Caesar is a medium/large breed mix with a stocky build and a mighty personality!! He is one of the most affectionate and loving dogs you'll ever meet and wants nothing more than to sit next to you for pets and belly rubs!! Caesar also has an active side and would be perfect for someone looking for a walking or running buddy. Caesar is a huge goofball when it comes to water. He loves dunking his head in water buckets, hanging in kiddie pools and trying to catch as much as he can from a spraying hose. We promise he'll keep you laughing for hours!!! He is also potty-trained, crate-trained and we think he would do well with kitties in the home. Because Caesar has been homeless for so long, He can be a little bashful when meeting new people. We think this is really the only thing holding him back from finding a forever home, but also believe with the right owner and out of the shelter setting, Caesar could easily learn to trust new people again!!We would love for someone to help him see what life is like outside his four kennel walls. Please consider giving Caesar the love and patience he deserves and apply for adoption today!!

Story
Meet Bandit! He is a wonderful dog! He needs a few days to warm up to a new environment and start coming out of his shell but once he gets comfortable and trusts, he's a fantastic boy. Bandit is very much a people lover and loyal companion who will wake you up with morning nuzzles. He does routine morning happy wiggles and waits patiently for breakfast. He picks out toys to do tail surgery on and loves those squeakers. He is wonderful on leash, a wonderful car rider, and loves being part of whatever is going on. Commands he knows (discovered so far) are sit, down, shake. He is house-trained and can chill or go for a run at anytime. Bandit likes playing with other dogs, loves walks, going on adventures, and can jump over ditches like a graceful gazelle. He does not like thunder or noises at the thunder frequency but loves his thunder vest and being in a homemade thunder cave. Bandit is looking for an active family or fur sibling to be his forever. He is such a great boy and would be a great addition to his perfect family, bringing endless entertainment and love. Apply through Northshore Humane Society to meet this perfect gentlemen!

Meet Buck! Buck lost his eye from being shot with buckshot for reasons we will never understand. But despite that awful experience, he is a sweet, calm, and affectionate pup. He is very gentle to walk on the leash. He LOVES to chase balls, and most of all he loves to snuggle. All Buck is waiting for is his forever family. Apply to meet this great guy today!

Story
Raven has been homeless at our shelter for almost two years 😢Raven is a beautiful large breed mix who was originally transferred to our rescue as a mom with puppies. She has an already-stunning, blue coat that with some time in a home and out of the shelter environment, we know will become the prettiest and shiniest of silver and white. Raven is a strong girl inside and out! She is super loyal, loving and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She has been working with our staff a lot on training and knows sit, stay, down, come, place and can even do our agility course! We know she is going to make a great pup to a special family out there. If you are looking for a loving and energetic girl to add some pep to your step, apply today to come meet Raven!

Story
From Joy's foster fam:Joy has been a busy little bee lately and she's bummed that I haven't taken the time to post... she travels well in the car, she loves a Starbucks pup cup, she sleeps well in the tent but is still scared on walks, she liked the sand on the beach just fine but was extremely apprehensive about the waves. She does well in a kennel at night and will sleep all night as long as she's in the same room with everyone else. She absolutely will not tolerate being in a kennel in a room by herself and will cry and bark for hours. She's a very sweet and loving pup. She plays well with other dogs and is a snuggler. She will be a WONDERFUL pup for a family who can spend time with her and maybe that has another dog (to show her that not all situations are actually scary).
