Meet Apollo!Apollo is a 2-year-old Terrier mix who is short, compact, slightly weird, and packed with enough personality for three dogs.This little guy is absolutely convinced he’s much bigger than he actually is. Between his expressive ears, tiny underbite, gap-toothed grin, and hilarious personality, Apollo is one of those dogs you can’t help but notice.Apollo is neutered, walks well on a leash, knows “sit,” and loves to play. We’ve also learned that he has a definite preference when it comes to canine friends: Apollo likes the big girls!He previously shared kennel space with two female Rottweilers and absolutely loved them. They happily roughhoused with him, tolerated his antics, and occasionally reminded him who was really in charge. Both of his girlfriends have since been adopted, so Apollo is once again looking for new friends.He seems to do especially well with larger female dogs who enjoy playing and can appreciate his particular brand of chaos. As with any potential canine sibling, we recommend bringing your dog to the shelter for an introduction to make sure everyone is a good match.Apollo is goofy, playful, entertaining, and completely unique. He may never become internet famous, but we think he’ll be a superstar to the person who takes one look at his ridiculous little face and thinks, “Yep.
