Story
Mako is believed to be a german shepherd / shiba inu mix. He has a lot of energy and needs daily exercise. I adopted him two years ago as a stray, and he still has the street dog mentality, so would do best with an experienced handler. Mako has a high prey drive and will chase cats, chickens, rabbits, etc. He gets along well with all other dogs (intact or neutered males and females), loves water, and does well in car rides. Please reach out for additional information. I want to see him in a home that can provide him with the level of activity and training that he needs.

Story
This is Sokka! He is an energetic and loving 3 yr old husky. He has been a loyal friend for 3 years but due to safety concerns and his wellbeing, we unfortunately have to rehome him. We live around lots of livestock and horses and we have been trying for years to keep him in the yard but he is very smart and find nooks and crannies easily. He always comes back home and has never killed any livestock, but he does love to chase and play. He is house trained and does well on a leash that has a gentle leader on it. His shots are not UTD but can be upon finding his forever home. He loves to wrestle and play with anyone that is willing! He is a great swimmer and has gone out with us many times on the river or on boats. He is good with cats, children, dogs, and loves being around women. He can be a little trepidatious around men at first but warms up easily. He is very good dog and it breaks our hearts to have to see him go, but we feel it will be the best choice for him. Please let me kno

Story
Looking for a brave and loyal companion? Look no further than Duke! This adorable, adult male is friendly, affectionate, playful, and smart, and he's sure to win your heart. He's curious and independent, but also quiet and well-behaved. He's the perfect combination of funny and athletic, and he loves activities like tug-of-war and fetch. He's a bit of a snuggle bug and loves kisses, so if you're looking for a sweet, furry friend to give you unconditional love, Duke is the one for you! As we work with Duke, Duke hasn't historically been the biggest fan of other dogs, but he is slowly coming around and has become playful with a couple other dogs in particular. Therefor, he's looking for a family where he doesn't necessarily need to be the only furry child, but would like to slowly be introduced to another dog who matches his temperament and energy. If you have a cat-free home and are full of love and attention to give, Duke would love to meet you!

Story
My name is Elmer and I am an adventurer extraordinaire. I have swum the Nile and punched crocodiles in the face. Backpacked up Everest, twice. I also saved 20 orphans from a burning building on my way to the grocery store. Unfortunately, when I was helping a little old lady cross the street, I stepped into a time warp and found myself in the pokey at Bitter Root Humane Association. They treat me really good in here, but I need to be out saving the world again. Any chance you can spring me and be my side kick? I have a spare pair of tights you can wear.
