Hank is athletic and loves to run and play frisbee. He's always up for a game of catch, and you can often find him jumping in the air (quite literally) in excitement. Hank is funny, cute, curious, and brave, and he loves giving kisses to his human friends. He's an affectionate, loyal companion who loves making new friends, both human and canine. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This sweet boy is Koda, who we are calling K5 since Koda is the most popular name for male dogs, ever!  This sweet old floof is in a wonderful foster home in MT, after his family felt that with the newest baby coming, K5 was not getting the attention he needed.  This is what his foster mom has to say about him.... K5 is an amazing older pyr with a wonderful personality. His favorite past time is being outside in the yard, just laying in the snow. Or playing at the dog park, with all his friends! He is a very social dog, who plays well with each dog he has met, he loves to puppy pounce, bow, and chase. He also loves a good human snuggle and belly rubs from adults or children. K5 is good with indoor cats, paying them little to no attention, however he will chase them if outside. He has done well with chickens, but I would not leave him alone with them until he is more acclimated to them. He is fairly vocal in the yard, but quiet once he comes inside. He has very good manners, no food or toy aggression toward people or dogs, and likes to sit for treats. Very good on leash, but poor recall off leash. He is a very easy going fellow who prefers to sleep on the floor or couch rather than a dog bed. K5 is allergic to chicken, so will need a food without. He also receives a supplement for brittle nails. Story
Meet Donato! This sweet boy was returned to the shelter because of his high prey drive towards anything with feathers. He is a 1 year old lab mix that loves to give kisses and cuddles to anyone he meets! He is a great dog with a fun, outgoing personality that would do well in an active house, as long as there are no chickens! Meet him today!-

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sweet young boy Kenai came to us from a rescue volunteer, h e was on a Reservation and killed someone's chickens and was at risk of being shot.  A lovely elderly woman adopted him who had a history of having large dogs as service dogs for her husband.  Her husband had died before she adopted Kenai and it turned out that she is not capable of caring for him on her own. She has physical limitations and can only walk very short distances inside her apartment and this poor dog wasn't getting any exercise. Kenai is a great dog, who just shouldn't be around chickens.  He's great with my 3 dogs, one of which is a 25 lb Cocker. He has lived with cats in the past and did not harm them. He is very friendly and just wants to find the perfect home which will need a 6ft fence. He is at the Old Farm Kennel in Florence and available for adoption with a $275 adoption fee.   Feel free to give the Kennel a call at 406 273-6837 if you would like to stop in and meet Kenai.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 11:51 am
