Story
Meet Freya, a sweet-tempered, endlessly affectionate Border Collie whose bright eyes and wagging tail instantly melt the hearts of anyone she meets. She’s a gentle soul who loves nothing more than curling up beside you after a playful sprint across the yard, offering soft nudges and kisses whenever you’re feeling down. Freya thrives on companionship and would flourish in a home where she can share daily walks, puzzle games, and plenty of cuddle time; she is eager to learn new tricks to keep her sharp mind busy. Though she’s a bit shy at first, a patient, loving family will quickly discover her loyal nature and the joyous, upbeat energy she brings to every moment. If you’re looking for a devoted, loving partner who will fill your life with laughter, loyalty, and endless love, Freya is ready to become your forever friend—she just needs a caring home to call her own.

Story
Louis is a senior looking for a senior! This boy is languishing in a southern Texas shelter with little hope of finding a home there. He is an 8 year old and 85 pound lad who found himself homeless and looking at the end of his short life in a municipal shelter. He needs help out, and TRACS will help him if we can find him a senior person home or a senior dog loving home here in our area. He can come up on a flight on the 25th of February, but we want him to have a home commitment first so he does not have to adapt to yet another shelter life. He is a very friendly and loving boy who is house trained and a great companion. He walks on a leash but would love a fenced in yard to bask in the sun in. He is good with many dogs but does not like to have dogs in his face or in his space all the time. So he likely will be good with another senior, but not a young energetic dog. This boy is all done medically and can go right home on the 25th. If you have a good home for him and can pick him up at that time, he will be flying into Missoula MT. He is adoptable for donation of choice and would love to meet you. Please apply for him on our website and we will be in touch!

Story
Ellery is a senior looking for a senior! This girl is languishing in a southern Texas shelter with little hope of finding a home there. She is an 8 year old and 55 pound girl who found himself homeless and is now on the "euth" list in a Texas municipal shelter. She desperately needs help out, and TRACS will help her if we can find her a senior person home or a senior dog loving home here in our area. She can come up on a flight on the 25th of February, but we want her to have a home commitment first so she does not have to adapt to yet another shelter life. She is a very friendly and loving lab girl who is house trained and a great companion. She walks on a leash, loves to cuddle, and loves to spend time with a human. She is good with many dogs but does not like to have dogs in her face or in her space all the time. So she likely will be good with another senior, but not a young energetic dog. This beautiful chocolate gal is all done medically and can go right home on the 25th. If you have a good home for her and can pick her up at that time, she will be flying into Missoula MT. She is adoptable for donation of choice and would love to meet you. Please apply for her on our website and we will be in touch!

Story
Little Chaise has had a pretty rough life. He came to TRACS with his mother and he became very ill and went into foster care. He almost didn't make it. But he finally started to thrive in foster care and is now ready for his new and permanent home. He is about 3 months old now and will be around 25 to 30 lb as an adult. He's very well adjusted to other dogs and to cats and to farm type of life. He loves being outdoors and he's doing a good job of being house trained. He would make anybody a very good companion. He needs to go out in a Foster to adopt status as he has not yet been neutered. We will provide $50 voucher towards his surgery. We also need to collect a check for $150 that we hold as a guarantee that his surgery will be done. We return it as soon as the owner has him neutered. His adoption fee is $350 and if you're interested please fill out an application on our website and we will get back to you.

Story
Meet Odin, a 2-year-old boxer mix whose boundless energy and goofy grin make every day feel like a celebration. This lovable goofball thrives on human companionship, eagerly greeting each family member with a wagging tail and a happy bark that says, “I’m home!” Odin gets along just fine with cats, but he’s a true solo-star when it comes to canine friends—he does best as the only dog in the household. His playful antics—whether it’s a spontaneous “zoomie” sprint across the yard or a clumsy tumble after a favorite squeaky toy—keep his people laughing, while his affectionate nature ensures plenty of cuddles on the couch. If you’re looking for a loyal, family-focused companion who will fill your home with laughter and love, Odin is ready to become your forever buddy.
