Interested in adopting a puppy? Stop by the shelter to visit during our open hours Wed-Sun from 1-6pmA few additional details about adopting a puppy from HSWM:- The adoption fee for puppies (8-20 weeks old) is $225.- All puppies will come with at least their first dose of the Distemper/Parvo combo vaccine (DA2PP). This is a series of vaccines and all puppies under 20 weeks/5 months of age will require booster vaccines to ensure they are fully protected. Once they have completed the series, this becomes an annual vaccine.- Puppies also receive a Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccine when they enter our care, as well as an initial dose of dewormer. -Puppies need to be at least 12 weeks of age to receive a Rabies vaccine. If a puppy is too young to receive this vaccine prior to adoption, adopters will be sent with a $15 vaccine voucher that can be taken to a primary veterinarian. This is included in the adoption fee.-All puppies will be microchipped prior to adoption, and we automatically register that microchip when we process an adoption.-All puppies will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Story
Daisy was born in June 2025. She is a Catahoula/Leopard/Hanging Tree cow dog mix. She is up to date with her shots. She is not fixed. She is a sweet dog but needs to go to a loving home that can provide her with the attention and love she needs. Daisy is deaf and needs to be worked with but she is wonderful with adults, kids and other animals. My family and I are busy and don’t have the time to give her the care she needs. She loves going on walks, playing and being with people.

Not good with dogs,
Story
HI - I'M VAIL! I'm a loving 5-1/2-year old small Pit Bull Terrier-Bully girl in need of a foster or forever home. I'm white as snow and hence I was named after Vail, Colorado! I have a lot of good traits... I love people and am quite the snuggler. I also love my crate, and would gladly sleep in it at night (though would probably prefer your bed.) I'm not destructive in the house and am overall a joy to have around. I'm also quite playful. There are a few things to work on still. At about 45 lbs., I'm a small but strong girl, and could use some leash training. I'm also best as an only dog in the house, where I can get all of the love and attention, as I'm not a fan of other dogs. I'd love a warm bed, a person or people to love me and a chance to go for a walk, hike or road trip! Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in Washington but can be transported to Eastern Washington. Please email for an application.
