He is a happy pup who is quickly learning that people can be nice and starting to understand what love is. Acer is current on his vaccines, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. If you can provide them with the loving forever home he deserves, please submit an application on our website at www.pet-tracs.com.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Louie, formerly known as Lou, and proudly rocking his new name. He is such a sweet boy and has been settling in so well. One of his favorite pastimes is stretching out in the window to keep watch over everything happening outside. He kennels up nicely and has been doing great in the house.   He gets along really well with the kids. He is still a bit unsure about their bursts of excitement, but he will sit calmly and let them pet him. He is also doing well with our two small dogs. He has had to remind one of them of his boundaries a couple of times, mainly when the little one gets a bit too protective over food, water, or toys. Louie handles it appropriately and does not go looking for trouble.   He is understandably wary of the large German Shepherd next door, who has a bit of a reputation. Louie does not provoke him, but he will stand behind the glass and bark back with his fur standing straight up, which is both brave and a little hilarious.   We are currently working on his chewing habits. He has a soft spot for socks, slippers, and the occasional small toy if given the chance. He also discovered a bingo dabber from the kids’ workbook and decided it looked like a great chew toy, so his legs are now sporting a festive green tint. A bath is on the agenda this weekend, which should be an adventure for both of us. We have not done much leash work yet, but that is next on our list. Overall, Louie is a very good boy who is adjusting beautifully and bringing lots of personality and laughs into our home.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 27, 2026, 12:51 pm
